Casual Italian Restaurant. We do not have a dress code. Specialty in pastas and pizzas, although we offer meats, fish, seafood, poultry. In our place in Cariari we also offer a sushi bar. Open every day from noon until 10 pm.

Not the first time I have eaten here and the food is superb from the Pizza's to the pasta. Good local beers as well which never disappoint. Service at times is a little lacking in friendliness and enthusiasm but makes up with it with the food, good for meThank you very much for your reviews

So many choices in one place, it is hard to pick the right one. I chose one filled up with spicy shredded meat and I was fully satisfied with the flavor and size. It took me a while to get there, though. Ask the counter for advice and they will gladly help.This isn't a cheap place, so make sure it is worth the price.In general terms, I think it is.

There is a serious hyperinflation in CR. American dollars simply don't last and Pizza Ciao thinks they're on the hook for serious cash influx when they promote prices so expensive not even Costa Ricans want to go to. The place is nice and the service is ok but the prices are infllated making the experience a bummer when you get the bill. Not suggested if you're saving money on your trip.Carissimo viaggiatore mi dispiace molto che la sua esperienza in Pizza Ciao sia stata sgradevole per cuanto riguarda il prezzo;anche se nel suo caso non si può identificare in che forma sta valutando questa sua comparazione!Pizza Ciao è aperta al pubblico dal 2008 in centro San jose e dal 2013 in San pedro Montes de oca con il 98% dei suoi clienti propriamente costaricensi tra cui il 70% donne e bambini con una compra promedia mensile di materie prime tra le due pizzerie di 3000 kg di farina ,1.500 kg di pomodori pelati italiani ,2000 kg di mozzarella fresca da latte di mucca, 150 litri di olio di oliva italiano ecc ecc con locali dove le condizioni igieniche sono visibili con le nostre cucine alla vista pur trattandosi di pizzeria al taglio con impasto di pizza non contenente preservanti o miglioratori di sapore con bassissima percentuale di lievito di birra con impasto maturato è lievitato ogni giorno in ogniuno dei nostri ristoranti e con ingredienti comprati diariamente e non congelati (nelle nostre cucine non abbiamo congelatori) impasto steso a mano...Si abbiamo forni banchi frigoriferi mescolatrici per pizzerie dell azienda italiana Moretti forni S.p.A Comunque un GRAZIE per la sua visita e la sua recensione e lo aspettiamo il più presto possibile umilmente con il desiderio di regalarvi una pizza cortesia mia personale in qualità di propietario così la vostra spesa di viaggio ed il vostro portafoglio non sarà nno pregiudicati per mangiare un prodotto eccellente e sano nelle mie pizzerie dove la qualità è superiore alle pizzerie prestigiose multinazionali sparse nel mondo ed il prezzo è più basso !!! è lei stesso può comprovarlo qui nella città di San jose Costa Rica Buona giornata Antonio N.

We took a group of our collaborators for lunch to the Market today. We had coordinated some details beforehand but definitely it was thanks to Priscilla's attention and amazing service that we had such a pleasant experience. The food was delicious, service was great, prompt, and super courteous. Even having a vegan person have her lunch BTO, everything was seamless. Cristian was our waiter and provide us with warm and pleasant set. The food was wonderful. The only request I have is to NOT microwave the bread as they did and to serve real butter in lieu of the artificial butter made with rapeseed oil. We visited this place for lunch with the family and it is incredible that there are NOT tables on the restrooms to change the diapers for the babies. We had to go to the car and change the diapers in the rear seat to go back to finish the lunch. We reported this unacceptable situation for customers with children and looks like no actions will be taken because they did not take notes for our suggestion (or complain), really poor customer service.I read comments about "elegant", this place is not elegant, is just a small restaurant with small restrooms and I doubt that are not suitable for wheelchairs.Do you have kids? if your answer is no, then go ahead, the flavor is good. But if your answer is yes, then go away, it is not family oriented place.Please note: NO PARKING AVAILABLE, you have to stop on the street and exposed to a ticket or car plates removal.Good Morning,In reference to the comments of that very kind gentleman, I wanted to clarify the following points.FIRST, The measures of the bathrooms, which were adjusted based on the measures required by law of the Ministry of Health,is the measure of access to the largest bathroom that is, and complies with the regulations and provisions of law, governed by the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica,SO OUR ACCESS TO THE BATHROOM, IS SO SPACIOUS, THAT CONTAINS ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES,and you can enter the bathroom, even with a wheelchair.SECOND, on the other hand, in merit to his other comment, in reference to the absence of the table to change babies in the bathrooms, I want to clarify and point out that unfortunately is also inaccurate,WHY WE ALSO HAVE THE TABLE TO CHANGE BABIES IN OUR BATHROOM, several weeks ago, and all our clients in Heredia know it. Inclusive is posted on the door the indication on the access for the disabled, and is also indicated on the outside that we have the special table to change children. THIRD, in 16 years that we have to operate in Heredia in that same place, has NEVER been made, a ticket to anyone, due to parking, I really do not have idea of ââwhat you talking about, and I do not understand where you You have parked your vehicle, for you to say something like that, I suppose in some forbidden area, but it was't in front of our business definitely, because in front of our business of course you can park, and NO ONE will be able to say ANYTHING! I came again to this restaurant and the service and food again were great.Staff were again friendly and helpful.Today I ordered a Ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach with cheese sauce. It was delicious, so tasteful, the sauce was creamy, the pasta was cooked correctly. The waiter grinded fresh parmesan over the pasta, what makes the service more special and the pasta even more tasteful.For dessert I ordered a 'volcan de chocolate', and today it was perfectly cook (as the other time I ordered it came almost caked), when you open it, you see the 'lava' (melting chocolate).I'd rather pay C8000 ($15) to eat real, tasteful food than the same amount for a burger (that I had another day in another place) and it was really average.Thank you so much. Hope you always keep this great service, success!

This restaurant was recommended by a Italian friend and he was right! The pizza is thin, tomatoes are organic and all ingredientes fresh and a lot of choices for organic vegetables. Best Pizza in town.Pedro, Thank you for your feedback!We are glad your friend was right!
