I have been visiting "Pizzicato" regularly for the last 5 years or more and I have always been delighted with the food and service. But my last visit on March 9th was quite a different experience. I wanted to make a dinner reservation on the day before but after several attempts I could not get through because I was getting an auto-reply that "due to a technical problem the number cannot be reached". Therefore I called their number for delivery and explained the situation. The lady who answered the phone put me through to a guy who was obviously quite nervous. I gave him all necessary details for a reservation and asked him for a table on the second floor. He said they would try their best. What a surprise it was, when we got there in the evening on the 9th, to be told by the lady who met us, after checking her "flying" sheet of paper, that we were not on the reservation list. Mistakes happen although such restaurants MUST NOT make such mistakes but the greatest disappointment was the lady manager who was smiling, laughing and discussing the case with the waitresses and instead of making an apology, she obviously "happily" muttered that the previous day was pretty "messed up". Anyway they found a table for us but it was quite unbalanced, moving too much hither and thither, and would be so throughout our dinner. There were 3-4 vacant tables, so I asked a waitress to move to another table. She firmly said that it was not possible and I should use a napkin to fix the table by placing the napkin under one of the legs. The floor was perfectly even, just the table desperately needed to be repaired. That was the "cherry of the cake" and we didn't want to spoil further our evening. That's why we went to another restaurant nearby - "Rosstel" - where the service was perfect and the food was delicious. Will we return to "Pizzicato"? With so many good restaurants in Varna and such customer service in "Pizzicato" - thank you, NO, thank you. I don't think so!!!

I visited this restaurant with friends and family. The view towards the old town from the terrace is spectacular. The food is a bit sad, served with not much imagination. Nevertheless, it was with acceptable quality and if you focus on the view you will be okay. The restaurant is quite large and it seems that it is understaffed , at least for the busy summer months. We didn't manage to make the waitress smile, she was quite stressed, because of the volume of work probably. Overall, if you really want to have a great time, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately loosing speed. Last time a dish I adored Tuna Spaghetti were more than mediocre. The sauce wasn't reduced properly tasting sourish, while the pasta was rather raw than aldente. I hope it was an one-time misfortune, but will never know.

We spent 14 nights in a nearby hotels All Inclusive but ate here almost every other night.Having eaten at the #1 and #2 ranked restaurant first we hadn't been impressed but were so glad that we found this place.Staff are amazing, friendly and made us feel comfortable from the 1st time. Never felt pressured to revisit when walking passed but often stopped in for a beer even if we weren't eating.We did not have a bad dish while we were there and, when asking questions of the menu, it was refreshing to receive honest feedback on some of the dishes and given alternatives were they thought we would prefer.Our two boys loved the attention and high fiving everyone whether we were stopping in or not.There are previous reviews for here connected to the hotel but this is a separate venture and I am glad they have been able to get this page up as i really think their hard work goes under the radar when linked to the hotel.Finally, the music every night is very good, light hearted and was a chance to see kids and adults a like from many different countries have a dance and a sign song.Thanks to everyone there for helping make our holiday so good. We will be back

We sat at the terasse and had shell fish soup and fish. Delightful, tasty and with a good view of the local Beach. Waitors were also helpful with the recharging of an iPhone 6 and advice on local nightlife.

We've been coming to this restaurant for 7 years. Very good food. Fresh and authentic Ingrediens! The management and staff are very welcoming. Great for dinner, lunch or you can just have a coffee with a great variety of Delicious desserts! They regularly update their menu with seasonal dishes and amazing salads.

The pasta is perfectly cooked Al dente. super authentic, tasty and fresh. Fair prices for the product you get, I didn't experience high quality food in Varna till this nice restaurant which you can see cooks with passion. Everything is fresh and clean (hygiene is bad in other restaurants in Varna) Pizza is good, not perfect as the crust has to improve (not Napolitan nor Roman style) but in overall it's tasty.
