Best known for contemporary music, the festival has attracted almost 200,000 people in recent years (whereas Glastonbury's full-time population is only 9,000 or so). There are a number of historical monuments to see in the area, including Glastonbury Lake Village, Glastonbury Abbey and the Somerset Rural Life Museum. We can't say that the weather is always good, but on a sunny day you can't go wrong!

This family run restaurant is one of the nicest, friendly and atmospheric places to visit in Wells. The warm welcome combined with the wonderfully authentic Italian food makes it a must visit. The quality of the pizza is magnificent and just as good as anything you can get in Rome! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for genuinely great Italian food.

Came here with friends for Sunday lunch and it was busier than we'd seen it before. This place is clearly gaining in popularity and quite rightly so.The menu has something for everyone. Well cooked dishes and the portions are a good size. Young waiting staff, but they do pretty well.It's become a firm favourite in Wells.

This was supposed to be a nice meal out, however I hated it, worst meal iâve ever had the displeasure of eating, staff where terrible, although a red headed female always had a smile on her face, and wouldâve preferred to of ben served by her. The person on the bar had a terrible attitude and looked as if they didnât want to be there, the management was shocking, wonât be returning, and would advise against anyone eating here, waste of time and money. Eat somewhere else whilst in Clarkâs Village and get a value for your money, ever so unhappy at our treatment whilst here

Delightful family run restaurant that offers a wide and excellently priced range of Italian dishes. Wonderful customer service! Staff was very friendly and accommodating to us on a busy Friday night, even though we hadn't made reservations. Food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend!

I eat here as often as I can. Especially with my daughters (age 5 and 8). The food is delious. The service is exceptional! There's a wide choice of classic Italian dishes. Unlike the chain restaurants,this is good traditional Italian food. Everything is made fresh - you can see in to the kitchen. My children are always made so welcome. They are fussed by the staff and given balloons. Sat outside on a sunny afternoon with a glass of wine and a pizza Gordon 1921, I couldn't be happier!!
