I came here for a lunch a while ago, I was on a trip to Liechtenstein and had some free time before I had to get the train back to Zuerich airport. The lady who served us and owned the place was so friendly and kind. I am a real enthusiast for the German language, she spoke fluent English and was very considerate (and patient) with my efforts to communicate in German even though back then it was awful. When we ordered our pasta meal, she told us that we had a soup starter coming which was pumpkin and apple. I didn't like the sound of that but decided I would try anyway, it would be fun. Oh, man! I could have eaten that soup for the entire visit had not the pasta been almost better. The lady told us that she makes the pasta herself from scratch, I wish all restaurants did that, the flavour of the pasta itself was excellent, usually we drown it in a sauce and it is merely a vehicle to get the sauce down but oh... I will definitely come back here on my next visit to the area.

We enjoyed our food here and the staff were very nice. They have a good reputation locally for their pizzas but be aware that if you want to share one they charge 4.50 Francs for the privilege!

A small garden restaurant in a popular village called Wildhaus near St Gallen. We were hungry, passed by this restaurant on our way home to Zürich and decided to stop.....best decision ever made! Since then we have been there three times for the best EVER pizza! So many to choose from, you can order a small one, the pizza base is thin, bubbly and crunchy in just the right places AND you are served with two small glass egg cups filled with chopped pepperoni I in oil as well as chopped garlic in oil.....dribble this on your pizza....take the first bite.....Friendly service, cute garden and being on the main street is no problem as the traffic is minimal. Parking across the road.....

La Dolce Vita is located in Walenstadt. Its only a few Miles from the resort Walensee.We thought it offered good value Italian cuisine there were five of us and we all had something different from the menu with no complaints. A bottle of House red was great value for money .Service was excellent with a friendly atmosphere. There was a small bar, both the bar and restaurant seem to be popular with locals.To find turn off the road in to the main shopping area of the village opposite the station. At the top of the street there is a roundabout go left off this and the restaurant is on the right there is ample parking close by.

Probably having been there the most in the past month I thought to add another review. Rib Eye Steak and Luma "Bratwurst" was fantastic. We do love the atmosphere in this restaurant and can't wait to be back. Staff do a superb job and having been there about 10 times (stopped counting) we never get bored of it.
