We visited this on 4 July 2015 for lunch. The meal was outstanding with most of the ingredients made in house.We had the usual pastas with pesto and their signature beef dish which is cooked at your table as a must recommended ite, Dessert comprised of apple cake and vanilla ice cream that was also made in house.The surroundings are tranquil and the views from this location are outstanding. Not your usual touristy crap so a definite hidden gem of the Italian Alps.

Alpe Crampiolo is a regular place for us to visit, the area generally provides stunning scenery and beautiful walks for all abilities. For me a day in the mountains is like a weeks holiday with it's peace and tranquility and intoxicating air.After an invigorating walk, the food at Alpe Crampiolo and the warm welcome make for a perfect day.For the tourist visiting Stresa, the drive is only about 1 hour via Domodossola, and Crodo don't forget to stay in Crodo just outside the village is a lovely shop selling local breads, cheeses, yogourts..great to take home for a memorable nibble...a must visit..David Whitwam (Stropino Kid ) owner of the award winning" La Casa del Giardiniere B&B"

Nice pizzeria, good for families (there is also a space for toddlers to play, equipped with a variety of toys), and conveniently located for a quick lunch before heading back to the mountain tops. The pizzas were satisfactory, pasta sauces a bit disappointing on occasion, salad portions rather small. The interior is cozy and warm. Only dessert available was ice cream.

If you want to get a great Pizza in Bettmeralp, don't miss Le Postillion. One of the best Pizzas I had in quite a while. Very kind staff too. Maybe it's better if you reserve. It's quite full sometimes.

Just back from skiing, spent seven days in Fiesch and based on Tripadvisor reviews I went with my family for meal to this nice restaurant. It wasn't busy week so restaurant wasn't busy. The whole attention from owner was on some other guests but we were fine with very nice and polite waiter but with very poor English. Food was nice, nothing spectacular but tasty and good size. Price as we were expected high, but similar to prices in other places in Fiesche. So it was ok. Night after, on the way back to apartment, I realised that I have no fresh bread in it and kids wanted to eat something, so stopped to Fiescherhof restaurant just to order focaccia for take away. Owner, Salvatore, treated me as I have no idea what focaccia is, and also like I am wasting his time, like I am begging for something? There was 10-15 people having dinner at the moment and I think that all of them were aware of us and how 'I want just a bread, no cheese.. 'I was so embarrassed and wanted to disappear but kept smile on my face. Focaccia was ready in longest 10-15min, he charged me 10 Franks for it even I am not sure that was a price, I didn't check in menu. As a customer I can't remember I was treated in some restaurant in Europe or America, so very disappointed with Salvatore. So for this reasons I will never ever go to this restaurant.
