Mi sono fermato in questo locale situato all'interno di un cortile, non molto ampio e col parcheggio limitato considerato che vi sono più attività all'interno di quest'area. I gestori sono molto simpatici e alla buona, opto per una pizza perché servono anche menù fisso, la pizza è buona di quelle fine e gli ingredienti abbondanti, il prezzo è giusto.

Per una serata diversa tra amiche, questo posto secondo me è lâideale! à stata unâesperienza molto positiva, a partire dallâaccoglienza e dalla gentilezza del personale e dei âcolleghiâ. Le tigelle erano buonissime, come anche gli gnocchi fritti, ottimi i salumi e le salse. Il rapporto qualità /prezzo è assolutamente corretto è bilanciato. Torneremo sicuramente!

Visited this restaurant with family during vacation. It was hard to find a restsurant which was open and welcomes you with open arms. Happy we found this restaurant. Very friendly staff, perfect regional wines and lovely food. Price quality is very good. Absolute reccommendable.

We visited Este when the weekly market took place. After having seen what was planned we were hungry and looked for a place to eat and found Antico Sirone as the only one which was open and looked comfortable. We haven been the only guests at that day, decided to take the seat outdoor. We have been served quick, only cold dishes availabel, but in perfect Quality, Service very friendly, visiting Este another time we shall come again. Only a pity that no hot dishes are served.

Open at lunch later than any other eatery in the center (3:00 versus 2:15 or 2:30), I was surprised by the fish menu: modern dishes (tuna tartare, excellent) but also traditional if refined ones (pasta with sea urchins [uni]); the dessert was to dream about (one of the mascarpone based offerings). Highly recommended.

On a rainy November afternoon, we wandered into Osteria Nova late and even though we were the only people there, we were welcomed warmly. Nicely priced prosecco. My partner had fresh tagliatelle with duck ragu, while I had the softest, fluffiest gnocchi with sausage and mushrooms. We both had meatballs for our main, which were delicious both fried and in sauce. Then coffee and their own biscuits. We got to see the waitress feed their little neighborhood cat. It's the relaxed but charming neighborhood place with handmade food and attentive service. Some of our happiest memories of a long pranzo in Italy.

Le Strie is in the guidebooks for a reason. This nippy, classy restaurant produces simple but delectable dishes halfway between comfort food and 'fine dining'. We are vegetarians, and ate well, from the exquisitely flavoured tomato sauce served with maccherone to the pasta e fagioli to excellent contorni and imaginative desserts. The wine list is very good too. Meat-eaters would be in seventh heaven - this is prosciutto country.When in Este, Le Strie is essentially where you'd eat.

There are many more of the little out of the way places in Italy than one would ever find in the USA, especially with such fine dining but after a number of single lane roads getting there just from the Radisson Blu Galzignano Terme, we arrived just as they opened on the day before the start of the Easter holiday weekend. We knew we were early but we had an early flight scheduled out the next day, so we arrived at 7pm and ordered the degustation menu of four courses. But they served what I thought was an amuse bouche first of parmesan, a piece of ham quiche, and green olives; but then that was also followed by some white prosciutto (basically fat) on a small piece of toast. I believe then, the actual 4 course menu started with some salami and regular prosciutto as the appetizer/antipasti, but then there was another dish of purple potatoes with asparagus which was so tasty but we were starting to fill up when we realized that the next dish was the pasta dish/primi platti of ribbon thin tagliatelle of nettles in green with a white meat sauce. Even though we swore to not eat it all to try and save room for the rest, we gobbled this down entirely. The main dish was duck served with a recipe that was over 500 years old but we could only eat half of what was on our plates in order to save a little room for dessert, which was a hazelnut/almond tart with hazelnut ice cream. My goodness, it was all so good and the helpings weren't necessarily American sized portions but there was just too much and all for 50⬠per person. Wow. I had to use my limited Italian and French as the wait staff might have one person fluent in English but that was fine as it added to the entire environment. How better to get out of your comfort zone than to use some guesswork to figure out your next dish? We'll have to go again!

What a delightful stop for lunch. We were actually seated in what used to be the kitchen and it was charming and delightful. The food however was superb. The bring out course after course and they are all local specialties.I believe the chef wants to come to visit us next year and we will be delighted to have him---who knows, he may even cook a bit for us.Thank you for your review.
