Wir waren mal wieder unterwegs und etwas hungrig. Da wir davon gelesen hatten, dass es die beste Pizzeria in Schmallenberg sein soll, wollten wir das testen.Es schmeckt gut, ist sauber und die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend, aber es ist definitiv nicht die beste Pizzeria vor Ort. Es ist absolut in Ordnung und es gibt nicht wirklich was zu beanstanden, auÃer dass die Bedienung die gerademal vier Gäste komplett durcheinander brachte. Wer aus Richtung Wiesentwelt oder Lennestadt in Richtung Schmallenberg fährt und hungrig ist, muss nicht weiter suchen. Hier wird man gut satt.Wer etwas Gehobeneres sucht, sollte allerdings weiter fahren.

Initially the pizzas looked fine. We seemed to have chosen the ones with lettuce sprinkled over them. Alas then it seemed that was the most abundant ingredient on it. You'd expect a bit more cheese, tomato sauce and - in our case - parma ham and Parmesan. The lasagna was almost burned with its dark brown cheese crust and watery.

We went there for a Friday's dinner. Walking in you don't get an Italian atmosphere at all because it's very bright and quite spacious. We had a garlic soup, pizza and a salad and paid a lot more then we expected. Nevertheless, the food was very Italian which we really liked.I would recommend it if you don't mind paying a lot for a regular dinner.

We each had a pizza and shared a salad.The staff was very friendly.The pizzas were good, but together with the bread served as an appetiser, I thought was a little undercooked. This might be a matter of taste, because I think it was intended to be served this way.The mixed vegetable pizza ('primavera') was not vegetarian, it also had ham and two kinds of fish. Vegetarians are stuck ordering a single ingredient pizza (onion, mushroom, cheese, spinach) or negotiating something not on the menu.Our salad was more than big enough for the two of us and the ingredients were fresh. The taste of the salad was really lacking however, like everything was bought inexpensively from the supermarket.I wouldn't be afraid to go there again, but might look for something else first.

Het kleine Wenholthausen heeft een paar restaurants, wij besloten de lokale Italiaan te proberen. Een prima keuze.We kozen voor pizza's, pasta's en varkenshaas medaillons met vooraf een vers getapt glas Veltins (de brouwerij ligt op enkele kilometers afstand).Uitstekend pizza's vers gebakken in een vuurgestookte steenoven. De pasta's ook erg lekker; van de pasta had wel een schep meer op het bord gemogen. Het vleesgerecht ook prima; geserveerd met goede frietjes en salade.De bediening was vlot en correct, niet uitgesproken vriendelijk.Al met al heerlijk gegeten in een gezellig restaurant. Een aanrader!

We were looking for a nice place to eat with the five of us, including 3 children, and found this place. Looking good, as we felt like eating nice Italian food. Although the restaurant was looking great, as was the waiter, the food wasnât. Both pizzaâs and pastaâs were made by someone clearly giving his own (German?) touch to the food. It wasnât bad per se, it just wasnât Italian.
