After reading reviews went and searched this place outAfter finding it and going inside Iâve got to admit I felt instantly disappointedBeing vegetarian and my husband really vegan there wasnât much option and choiceEventually we made a choice Iâve got to say it was nice but really wasnât for meMy husband however even tho virtually vegan did like what he chose which was the porcini mushroom and smoked mozerella cream pasta Wine was lovely Service was great Just not your typical Italian

This Chiringuito is amazing, fantastic location right on the beach, great food, great cocktails and wonderful friendly staff.Saturday and Sunday evenings are a must for the atmosphere and to listen to the very talented Sattafly playing and singing.The sunsets are incredible.

Letâs not beat around the bush; this is a spit and sawdust place with no frills in a barrio located to the north of Marbella . Itâs a pleasant stroll from the old town that will certainly sharpen your appetite. Probably not where you would expect to eat on your holiday to Marbella (effectively in a council estate with a vista of washing lines complete with freshly laundered knickers, vests and bras). But donât let this put you off. If youâre looking a really good crispy based pizza, with a few cold beers, thatâs as cheap as chips - you really canât go wrong. Take a walk up the hill and give it a try.You wonât regret it!

Having had an apartment in Mijas Costa for many years we had somehow missed this restaurant but are so glad we have now discovered it. A very large menu of pizza, pasta and mexican dishes served with a smile and a level of English more than enough for us Brits who only come to Spain occasionally and have embarassingly bad Spanish. We had burritos and quesadilla which were both very good but the real food envy moment was the spicy spaghetti bolognese (Mexican) which comes in an oven dish covered in melted cheese. Wow. 4 mains, 3 beers, a wine and a coke: â¬40. See photos for the English menu. We went on a Thursday evening as soon as they opened at 8pm and there were lots of free tables as the restaurant is enormous Parking on the street is almost impossible in the evning but park round the back on the big tarmac area near the school and there is space for 200+ cars and it's free. Went without a reservation after recommendation by friends and we werenât disappointed. We started with bread and an amuse-bouche of creamed chickpeas. For mains we ordered 2 pork shanks and a lasagne, all three meals were nicely presented and the quality of the food was excellent. The portion size, especially the pork, were huge and meant there was no room for deserts. A cappuccino, two bottles of water and a G&T and our food came to a very reasonable â¬60. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. La Bottega rightly sits high in the restaurant ratings for Nerja.

Poor service from cold and aloof waitress, no smile simply said "ready?" Food is very over priced for what it is - especially the raw dishes which are the first 3 on the mains section. Location is on a busy road with car horns being a problem here. Not a pleasant atmosphere. The only thing stopping me giving a poor review is that it is entirely plant based.Waitress also kept sneezing loudly which was also off putting.If you want plant based food go to Manuka, you will not be disappointed and it is on Beach front too.Hi there!I'm really sorry to hear that the service wasn't up to standard during your visit. Unfortunately our waitress (who normally gets beautiful reviews) had a bad flare-up of seasonal allergy - causing low energy and sneezing - that day. Again, our sincerest apologies that this disrupted your meal.In regards to the traffic noise there is unfortunately not much we can do about that. Regarding the pricing we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. We carefully select the best quality and organic ingredients we can find and all food is made in house which is reflected in the prices. The raw dishes we have are very popular with our customers but of course everyone has different preferences. We had tried to get into this restaurant last year when we visited Benalmadena but were unable to so this year we went in and booked a table! The meal, service and staff were wonderful. We could not fault a thing so we booked again to return on another evening and once again received the same fantastic experience. If you are in the area you have to go - you won't be disappointed.
