Chomutov has been a statutory town since 1 July 2006. It occupies an area of 29,26 km² and has 50 782 inhabitants (2008), thereby making it the 20th largest town in the Czech Republic, the 4th largest in the Ústí nad Labem region and the biggest in the Chomutov district. This restaurant is located in the Arena Hotel. The food is really good with fresh ingredients. Chef is a friendly and smily guy from Brazil. Location is not the best but it is clean and friendly. I would reccomend this restaurant if you are in the Arena Hotel. If you are sleeping somewhere else you can find something better. Ratio Quality Price is high. Good job, just take care of the location.Thank you for your review and we look forward to your visit.

Beautiful old building, multiple secluded areas to dine in the restaurant, makes it very nice and homey. The menu is very good and in English as well as Czech. The people are very friendly. I believe they are known for their pizza and it is cooked at an open wood fire. The food is outstanding and everyone I was with raved about their selection, whether steak, fish or ribs. My advice: yes this place is a little out of the way, but it is in a beautiful square in an old building so if you are nearby definitely stop. Get the pizza as an appetizer and then order their Czech specials. The first special of a pork knuckle would take 45 minutes so I ordered their ribs and they were fantastic and did fall off the bone. See the picture. The pike fish was also grand as well as the steak. We shared and I don't think you could go wrong. Be sure to order their mashed potatoes with onion and bacon....wow. They also have great wine and beer. The people are so friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Truly surprised and pleased. Give them a try.

We visited a few times and thought will give it a second chance.There is a good deals on lunch meals however its very simplified for the evening ocassions. You would expect either Mexican or Spanish even Mediterrean cuisine however thats not the case. International cuisine thats more like. The beer on draft is Staropramen or Pilsner Urquell so that makes up for it. It used to be called Sklipek and you would expect completely new enviroment however thats not the case either. Still decent value for money and worth a try.
