Amici

heard about this place from friends and decided to visit. It was a small spot that was unassuming, but the food and service was excellent! The pizza was the highlight and they have a great selection that you can see being prepared and cooked to perfection. The pasta dishes are also varied and great quality. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. will definitely go back again.

Marcelo's restaurant

I have never felt compelled to a review before but after my horrible, humiliating experience last night I can’t not say anything. I do not want anyone else to feel as uncomfortable as I did last night at Marcelo’s restaurant. It is NOT Vegetarian friendly as it states. Sure he will cook you a meat free meal, that I will admit was delicious, but he will also let you know his vulgar opinion of why you should’t be a vegetarian. The owner is the most disrespectful man I have ever been around. He was an acquaintance of one of the guest's I was with so he thought that it was ok to intrude on our dinner. He literally did not leave our table the entire dinner, at one point he pulled up a chair and his breath smelt heavy of liquor. Every other word out of his mouth was the f word, he made numerous uncalled for sex jokes and would not leave me alone because I was a vegetarian. I am not vocal or preachy about being a vegetarian. It was a choice I made in grade 2, I’m now 25 and I should not have to explain it to some ignorant man and endure the rudeness I did by simply ordering a dish on the menu that states its a vegetarian option. He said to me after he handed me my dish: “She’s going to have the shi*…My daughter was a vegetarian eating that f tofu and she lost her period and couldn’t have kids. She was so skinny. Someone had to knock something into her and tell her she can’t eat that f stuff. Why would you want to be a vegetarian?” This guy was way out of line. He would not let it go. He continued to bagger me, I was so uncomfortable, my hands were shaking and at one point I was trying to hold back tears. I stopped responding to him as he continued on through the dinner and he said ”can’t you take a joke, can’t you smile, why so serious, I’m an a h, you hate me, look at me stop looking away, don’t look at him” I still can’t believe this was my dinner last night. The worst New Years I’ve ever had and last year I had the flu so thats saying a lot. Everyone at the table felt incredibly uncomfortable, I was not the only one he was picking on, just the one he felt he should pick on the most. My family kept apologizing on his behalf, even though they shouldn’t be apologizing for this man’s absolute rudeness. At the time I felt so flustered I couldn’t even find words, but now looking back I wish I would have excused myself from the table and left the restaurant, I should not have played victim to this jerk. As we left he felt the need to give us 3 free loaves of bread, free bread will never cover up the unbelievably hurtful comments he spoke.

What a fantastic pizza. The toppings were amazing. The crust was perfect. If you are into the horrible thick crust north american style pizza, maybe this isnt for you, like the commentor below. Itialian stone baked pizza should be thin. I could not find a single issue with the food. And the Italian beer was lovely to boot.

We've ordered pizza from many different pizza restaurants, and as far as Cambridge Ontario goes, Pizza Nova is at the top of our list.Amongst many things, good pizza needs good pizza sauce and good dough/bread. This has both.Ask them "not to cut the pizza". We cut our pizza at home (just get yourself a pizza cutter). If the pizza shop cuts your pizza, all the juices and flavour leak into the cardboard box - the box gets yucky, the bottom of your pizza gets a little cardboard taste and you lose some of the flavour.
