Breda (Dutch pronunciation: [breːˈdaː] ( listen)) is a city and municipality in the southern part of the Netherlands, located in the province of North Brabant. The name Breda derived from brede Aa ('wide Aa' or 'broad Aa') and refers to the confluence of the rivers Mark and Aa. As a fortified city, the city was of strategic military and political significance. Although a direct Fiefdom of the Holy Roman Emperor, the city obtained a municipal charter; the acquisition of Breda, through marriage, by the House of Nassau ensured that Breda would be at the center of political and social life in the Low Countries. Breda had a population of 183,456 in 2017; the metropolitan area had a population of 324,812. It is part of the Brabantse Stedenrij.

A Nice little find for the pasta lovers. Large place seats 100 plus. Good prices and good portions. Not too complicated on the menu, usuals for meat and veggies. Wine and coffees also nice. Prices and service also good very friendly personnel.Located just outside the centre of town

Just had an evening meal (31/10/2014) with with family, what a lovely restaurant right in the centre of Ulvenhout.The extremely nice and helpful waitress and all of the ladies working that evening, fresh food and good service , what more can you ask for.Would recommend this to anybody in the area.

The pizzas were quite something. Thin, crusty but has a chewy touch! The menu choices were also slighty creative compare to the usuals. Overall, I had an amazing meal here. Salad was colourful and tasty! I highly recommend to go at least once, one of my new âfavourite to go placeâ for sure.

Having reason to celebrate, we decided to go to dinner in the small street near Breda. Having already asked for a small table near the window or a table with restricted sound, we were placed next to the kitchen where the Bread was cut directly next to your head (20 centimeters). It was a very unpleasant experience where I wanted to leave as fast as possible. Service was friendly but the place was to small. On my way out The waiter told me: 'too bad, better luck next time'. Bad experience.

This means a lot, since I've been to many! I love their food, it's always extremely tasty. Even the bread you receive as a (free) starter is delicious! I've had different types of dishes - meat, fish, pasta. Their market menu is always a pleasure (â¬30 for 3-course meal). Only small drawback of this place is that it can be quite noisy if it's crowded.

Pizza Cantina is located in a neighbourhood a little off centre in Breda. It is mainly visited by locals. They serve pizza and lasagne, besides some other Italian starters. It is real Italian pizza, tastes very good. They also offer take-out, which is why you will see people walking in and out picking up their orders. If you want to visit on Friday or Saturday, make reservations to be sure of a seat. It's not a very big place, so if you want to go in a group reservations are probably necessary as well.

We were staying in Den Bosch and decided to visit the town of Breda for the day. â¬16.60 per person return on the train.This is a nice town and the area around the Grote Markt is teeming with restaurants. We stopped here for coffee and cake. Two small cappuccino and a slice of Tiramisu set us back â¬11.30. Service was friendly, cake was tasty, coffees a little on the small side. Nice and relaxed watching the world go by.

WOW!One of the top italian restaurant in breda!! Excellent food, great presentation and top service!We had their signature dish which was a seabass baked in seasalt and some of us had the clam spaghetti! They were absolutely cooked to perfection! It might be a bit pricey but definitely worth a visit or two! Nice atmosphere, but a bit cramp as it is always busy during dinner!!! So go early or make a reservation!!

We made a reservation 3 weeks in advance, because it's a very good restaurant.My wife and I choose the Classic menu of 3 courses, but you can also choose the Italian way of having diner.The fish soup was a starter, but There was so much fish in it, that it looked like a main course! The main course had various kinds of meat and all very well baked, very soft meat.This was really one of the best restaurants we have ever had dinner.Love to come back Here.

We visited this restaurant wit a large business company.. Everybody was more than satisfied with what he tasted.. Good quality and also satisfactory quantity.. Very Good service.. But the restaurant is rather expensive...
