I decided to try the recently opened Rep Pepper Pizza yesterday. Pleasant friendly staff, 5 star hygene rating, so far so good. Lunch time specials very good, any 10" pizza for £4.99 (usually £10.99). I ordered a pepperoni pizza. Takes the usual time to make, but the pizza base appears to be pre-prepared, so probably frozen (not sure). Good range of dipping sauces to choose from.The pizza itself looked a little over cooked as all the cheeze was brown but it didn't taste too bad. Would I go back? probably not, I'd rather pay a little bit more and get the far superior Papa John's pizza.

This place used to be a regular getaway when I used to work in the area. Great for lunch with large tables that could be pushed together when there were groups of us.Prices have gone up since the last time I came but the portion sizes are extremely generous.The only issue that you could face is if you go in a big group. You could be waiting a long time from first person getting there's and the last. At least you know it's fresh. (Visit - 10/07/2015 Lunch)

Our previous visit was not a good one but decided to give it another try in case it had improved no drinks licence so water was the order of the day. Our orders were taken and I told the waitress to ....please do not rush the second course and I was assured a suitable delay would be allowed. Starters were bland including my salmon pate which bore no resemblance to a salmon. I reconfirmed that we would not be rushed and was assured by the lovely waitress that it was being delayed. No sooner were our plates removed...guess what....the main courses arrived. Apparently the Owner had ordered the kitchen to get on with it. Tasteless and overcooked Escalope Milanese. Overall we were all disappointed with the meal but interestingly despite apologies from the waitresses, the Owner just ignored us and our complaints.NEVER AGAIN

Based on the Trip Advisor rating we visited Melange for the first time today. There were for of us in our party, my 6 year old, me and my parents. My son ordered tomato pasta with cheese from the childrenâs menu. I ordered a fresh tuna salad, my mother ordered the ravioli and my father the fillet steak. It was busy at the time (although not at capacity) and we waited a rather long time for the food to arrive. My fatherâs meal looked good and was a standard generous portion. My mother and sonâs arrived with the smallest stater sized portions. Immediately I mentioned to the waitress that served us that my sonâs portion was really tiny. She shrugged and said âthatâs the portion we giveâ you can order another meal of the same. I told her no thank you because I didnât want to pay twice just to get a standard sized child portion and that the one provided was more akin to a 2 year old and not a 6 year old. My mother was too polite to say anything about her 3-4 pieces of ravioli until the end of the meal. We requested Parmesan (again) as it hadnât arrived. My tuna steak salad arrived with the tuna well done. I had specifically requested it pink inside. I cut into it and told the waitress it was well done. She told me that I must have requested it that way!! I assured her that I wasnât lying and backed up my my family (how horrendous) she took it away to get it replaced. I was so upset at being accused of lying and if it wasnât for us waiting for so long to get to this point, we would have left there and then. 5 mins later and with only a couple of forkfuls of my sonâs miserly meal, the Parmesan arrived. A little for my son and the waitress leaned right over my father mid meal to put some on my motherâs plate. My mother had to ask her not to lean over him but to walk to the other side of the small table. Surely this is a basic of waitressing. My tuna arrived when 2 of the 4 meals had finished. I ended up giving half of mine to my hungry little boy. Feeling so ripped off we didnât order dessert, paid our bill without the 12.5% service which was slapped on for us and left hungry. We will not return and I feel incensed enough by the experience to leave this negative review. Let me think of a positive to say... the decor was nice and the toilet was clean. Sad that the most enjoyable part of this ârestaurantâ experience was going for a wee! :-(Dear KoopyKof, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback regarding your recent experience at Melange. We serve circa 100 customers each day so naturally sometimes we do make mistakes and we are sorry to read that we failed to meet your expectations. However, from time to time we receive negative feedback which we deem unfair and we feel that regardless of our efforts we would still fail to meet the expectations of some customers. From looking at your previous reviews, 23 of the 35 posted are graded 3* and below (19 were deemed Terrible. Ouch) Surely the person cannot be that unlucky choosing the places to visit? Regarding portion size trying to balance portion size with food quality whilst at the same time offering our menu items at a price deemed reasonable by our customers is a challenge. What we do not want to do is sacrifice the quality of our food given we feel this is of upmost importance. We are however pleased to hear you enjoyed our bathroom facilities; we will continue maintaining our restrooms to the highest possible standards We wish you and your family all the best

First time to this restaurant and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.Garlic flatbread starters with meatballs and pasta fribbons for me and veal milanese with a wonderful mixed salad for my wife.Our friends had Carbonara and a steak and everybody cleared their plates - great food!Single glasses of Chianti, Shiraz and sauvignon blanc and ice cream / affogato (best i have had) to finish.The bill was extremely reasonable and the service terrific.Will most definitely return - VERY SOON!!

I went there with my family to celebrate my birthday and had a totally wonderful time. The ambiance is terrific and the food amazing. I whole hardheartedly recommend this restaurant.

This place was pretentious and over-priced and served poor food ten years ago, and are still getting away with it. The well-heeled local clientele ought not to let them get away with it. All the mouth-wateringly described dishes had been cooked hours before and heated over at the last minute in congealed sauces. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Although pleasant the staff here were incredibly dozy; bringing the wrong drinks order, the olives and starters at the same time. The bruschetta was not bruschetta but pizza dough with raw tomatoes blobbed on top. The food was very slow to come at first and then rushed almost on top of one another. Both diners had indigestion afterwards. Not a great Prezzo.
