This rating is for pizza -- we've been all over Italy, eaten many a pizza here -- even in Naples (the home of pizza) -- and The Garage's pizza has a perfect crust, crisp without burning it, flaky; delicious! They'll make any pizza to order -- just ask! This is a family-friendly, congenial village eatery frequented by locals and visitors alike. We eat here weekly or there's a riot in our home. We know other families that order out from The Garage weekly too. Yum:)

We eat here often and are always happy with it. The best feature is the family atmosphere, and the personalities of the famiky that runs it. The food is creative and delicious. The mamma who takes your order is a real character who explains the menu in a mixture of Italian and English and accompanies her delivery with dance moves and smiles galore!

I live abroad and every time I return home all I crave for is good authentic Italian food....we stopped at Bulargio' on the way back from Linate to Pavia - very simple entrance but inside the venue is very well taken care of. We had eggs with truffles, stuffed courgettes flowers, sautéed cod with cherry tomatoes (in the picture with dad's belly :)), and malfatti all accompanied by a bottle of very good wine (in the picture too). All was very good and the service was really elegant. The waiter has also been really helpful in helping us choosing the wine. Portions aren't huge, and prices are in line with good quality and elegance meaning if you are looking for a big fat meal and a bottle of cheap wine this place is not for you! But if you are looking for a fine dine experience out from the Milanese crowd or on your way to/from visiting a lovely town like Pavia :) stop by, it's worth it!

We have been to this restaurant at least 10 times. We love it.The food is fantastic, farther and son are cooking with Mama taking care of the front room. Service is out of this world, after first time there you are extended family. The crudo is outstanding and the crostada is the best in Milan. The goose liver ravioli is devine. Only on the menu in the winter. Great wine by the bottle, but also great selection by the glas.I have seen some reviews saying it is too expensive. I disagree, it is not cheap, but it is worth every penny. Enjoy!

Two of us visited the restaurant at night for a business dinner. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant is very spacious and well designed. The food was also delicious.

Wonderful service, beautiful yet simple ambience - not too pretentious - perfect for a family dinner with large tables that can hold 14 or 18 easily. A perfect menu of Lombardia specialities - served with grace and a very reasonable price.

We ate here for three nights as part of our group meal -- and each night we were given a 4 course excellent meal. They were also very accommodating to our requests -- especially for members of the group who had special diets. The service was great and those who waited on us were very attentive. We have been in Italy, specifically in Basiglio, for 6 months being that my husband is doing a shoulder surgery fellowship at Humanitas Hospital, and we recently decided to have lunch at the Piadineria because of a schedule change. We were not disappointed! First of all, the welcoming attention was great and made us feel good about our decision. Then, the piadina was great! The dough was very soft and warm, and the fillings were all of optimum quality! My husband ordered prosciutto cotto and I had tuna; we the finished off with a Nutella one! The size is rather good, too, given that we ate it as our lunch, we were very satisfied. The price is very accesible. A great choice for good quality, accesible, on the go lunch or dinner. Again, I can't rave enough about the great attention. We will be returning weekly!
