We visit the Hotel Panorama and have eaten in the restaurant on many occasions. The last time we were there was the first week since the restaurant had been taken over by new management and had become Madre Terra. The hotel's location has not changed, of course, so the views from the windows are still stunning wherever you choose to eat and the staff are still friendly and helpful. However, the menu has changed a lot and is a lot more sophisticated. We were there when the menu featured "la chasse" and there were several pumpkin dishes on offer, which suggests that seasonal produce is going to be important. The prices have increased noticeably but based on initial impressions this is probably justified.

Wir waren am 6.Juli 2018 im IL GHIOTTONE zu zweit zum Nachtessen.Der Betrieb scheint auf Ferien eingestellt zu sein, da die Bedienung/Küche etwas Mühe hatte (Kein richtiges Besteck auf dem Tisch, bei der Frage, ob man die Riesenkrevetten auch ohne Schale haben könnte, kam ein energisches NEIN, Stammgäste werden bevorzugt bedient usw.)Das Essen jedoch war gut wie schon früher und der Wein hatte ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.Wir assen Eglifilet meunière (30.- mit Gemüse und Reis , die Sauce Tartare muss man aber separat bezahlen 4.-) und Spaghetti Pulpo (22.-).Dazu tranken wir einen Pinot Noir, Leukersonne 2016 für 37.- Trotz etwas schwachem Service und wegen der früheren guten Erfahrungen können wir das Il Ghiottone weiterempfehlen und werden selber auch wieder kommen.

Tout est parfait à « La Table est mise », que dire de plus? Lâendroit est à la fois beau, chaleureux et intimiste. La patronne est extraordinaire, gentille, prévenante et talentueuse. Les plats sont plus savoureux les uns que les autres. Et pour couronner le tout, le prix est imbattable! Alors surtout nâhésitez plus, si vous nâavez pas encore testé cet endroit il faut y aller au plus vite, vous ne le regretterez pas et vous le recommanderez à votre tour, jâen suis sûre!

Itâs impossible to pass by after a day of skiing and not stop in for a chat, dance or a hot drink. Iâve tried to head straight to the car and i have never succeeded in my attempts. Their mulled wine is shockingly delicious, everyone has a smile on their face the whole time they are there, I always leave with two new friends. It is a must.

Bravo Chef and Spouse !Quite a creative, but still classic Cuisine. Young couple on stage. *He*, Chef, deals with production and "She", maître d'Hôtel is in charge of service.A la carte changes 4 times a year (each season) with an extra 5th in autumn for the shooting season.We had ravioli stuffed with Canadian lobster, and Coquille Saint Jacques. Nicely cooked, tasty, and nicely presented.We had a warm welcome and service from "She" with a charming French Canadian accent. Service in English is also possible.
