This restaurant, which is walking distance in the lobby, has a lot of food to offer. for an example in the breakfast it is by the menu or by the buffet. Either one is fine. For lunch (during the weekdays) there is also by the menu and by the buffet. The dinner is only available by the menu. For Sundays, there is there Brunch in which you will find a great assortment of food in this restaurant.

Agradable recibimiento por parte de la mesera, amable y sonriendo, buena disposición para sugerir platillo, sin embargo; ambas carnes fueron cocinadas muy por debajo del punto adecuado, estando una apenas sellada, los aliños con poco sabor, sin embargo bien presentados. El restaurante del hotel tiene desayuno buffet, brunch dominical y algún otro buffet temático. La relación calidad precio no está mal, pero tampoco es exagerada la variedad.De la carta solo probé los tacos de camarón y estaban buenÃsimos. Todo el personal muy amable y atento.Pedà servicio en la alberca y sà lo hicieron muy bien.

We had some dinner and drinks here when we stayed in Veracruz for two nights. This place was right next to our Hotel and that's basically why we went there.There are lots of restaurants nearby, many facing the nice Zocalo. Every place looks similar and have a similar menu. We just wanted some good fun and a bunch of drinks. This place is good enough for some people-watching and to enjoy the great night-atmosphere of the busy Zocalo.The food is very average (we had the Arrachera - beef skirt steak - which was ok). The beer was cold and the (mexican) wine was fine. Service is pretty much on the slow side. Prices are - for this location - fair. The menu mostly consists of the regular touristy "mexican" food with a bunch of fast food options thrown in. But we didn't come here for the food, we came here to drink and have a good night out. And for that it was fine. The night before we went to some other place...pretty much the same thing (except there we got some stomach-ache after the shrimp).Wanna know more about my trips? I went to one of the Vinoteca Wine sessions and it was a great experience, not only were the wines a good selection, but also the "Tapas" were great and perfectly matched. The guidance from Marcel is a must, we even stayed after the "Cata" for another wine! They make intresting activities, try to contact them before you go.

Mainly pastas and pizzas on the menu, that revealed very very poorly cooked and dressed. nothing to do with the nice fotos of elaborated cooking and plates shown on the site. Same pasta sauce on 2 different orders, dry pizza almost imposible to eat; Dreadful Chilean wine. The owner walks around the tables informally dressed, while he pretends to be the cook, his wife playing around with the baby. Expresso machine does not work.The pastry that was offered us after we complained was same low level as the rest of the food. This restaurant is by no way professionally driven. Far too expensive for the environment, service and cuisine. Believe me, as a french!We thank you for your visit and we feel terribly sorry for your experience, I would like to apologize if in any moment our personal made you feel uncomfortable, I like to let you know that we take all the comments very seriously and we find them as an opportunity to improve, however I would like to make clear that although we don't have a big menu, it has a variaty of dishes, as entrees, salads, pasta, minipizzas, burguers, meat, desserts. We already increase our bevarage menu and we welcome you back anytime.

I was walking along the coast side in Veracruz, looking for someplace to have a hearthy breakfast, put the "palapas" around the Aquarium are very awful, then i found Mardel... it barley goes noticed because it has a very little sign, but as you are entering you can feel that you are in a different place; the decoration is great, the service is attentive, and the food is not out of this world but great for the city's standards, and if you add the seaview, the good quality and the overall cleaness you have a great place to have a good breakfast and to relax while enjoying it, totally recommended!
