Once my wife, son and I arrived in Urubamba our level of concern about where we would find vegan food was high. After a stroll around the small town we happened upon a chalk painted sign, claiming to serve vegan food. We entered with low expectations, but left with our bellies full and our conscious' clear, knowing that we had eaten food that would nourish us and even promote our health while away from the comforts of home. But more over we where brought in by owners and chefs Antonio and Maria with the warmth one would expect when being reunited with a close family member! We talked at length while they prepared us foods, that they knew would bring us much satisfaction. Being vegan is not the easiest thing while traveling abroad, but coming from the loving hearts and hands of this husband and wife team, it was a breeze. We ate at Novaterra 4 times in one week, never walking out the door being nothing short of mezmerised. We love you Antonio and Maria!Love,The Pujals

When I arrived, there was only 4 patrons in what looked to be someone's private home turned business. Nonetheless, my friend and I were greeted and I asked if they had karaoke. Seriously, when you walk in, one would wonder where the heck is the karaoke?It seemed no one has used the karaoke because they took a while to set it up. Still they expedited the set up and served us some delicious Pisco sours while we waited. The karaoke is Inside a spacy living room with loud sound quality, and pretty much lets its users browse through anything on youtube. I mean that's so many options. I was able to sing some Korean and metal songs while I was here. We invited the other 4 guests who were there and we all had a good time singing Spanish songs, Backstreet Boys, Shania Twain, heavy metal etc. It was lots of fun and I'll never forget this karaoke experience. It seems like I made some fans because I saw the shy kids trying to take a peek at my performance. I didn't get to try the good but the Pisco sours were fair priced and I had a good time. What I loved about the place is that they let us sing for as long as I wanted. I think it was 2230, dark and time to go home but yet they insisted I stay longer. This karaoke charges $0 and they wanted me to stay! That felt niceNow when you leave, the area gets pretty dark however I can assure you the area is safe as you walk your way down the center where all the motor taxis are located. Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity!

You would never find this place if you are not told. It's in the middle of the mountain and a great place for families. It's buffet style with "criollo" food and a other options like BBQ and pastas. Definitely go for the peruvian food and the ambiance. Kids will have a blast while you enjoy your meal. Dear Diego. Andenes Yanahuara is a special place, full of living nature. Ideal for family. We are an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much.

We had an amazing meal here. This is the best restaurant we have experienced while travelling in Peru and it was not expensive. The chef, Andrea Zambrano, presented the meals beautifully. The Chilean wine complimented the dishes perfectly. Every aspect of the restaurant - the attentive service and peaceful, simple interior decor made for a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Chef Ralph Estrada--whom we met--has assembled a culinary and service team which sets the bar for this region. His breakfast buffet is probably the most expansive we have ever seen anywhere, and all the food was excellent. Dinners are varied, modestly priced, and always top notch. Servers are enthusiastic, attentive without being in-your-face, cheerful and always ready to assist. This is a go-to place. Don't miss it.

Last week we spend a week in Urubamba en we've eaten twice at Mamacha Juana Sopas y Guisos. It was an fantastic experience with wonderful looking en tasteful dishes. No were in this town or other towns in Peru we've had this experience. Thanks for both wonderful diners!

Our guide Hugo recommended us, right after we checked into San Agustin Urumbamba hotel we asked the receptionist to book a 8pm slot for us, using Google map, we were able to find this âhidden gemâ in a dark alley, we ordered the trout carpaccio, the quinoa soup, and the Alpaca Lasagne, all 3 dishes were excellent and the Peruvian red wine was great. The server (sheâs Russian-Israel-Canadian) was cheerful and make our evening memorable, we forgot to ask her name, I wanted to say thank you to you and your team, excellente !

I visited Hawa three times for breakfast during a stay at Tambo Del Inka. Anguella greeted us warmly every morning and even remembered us from one day to the next.Our servers were always attentive and friendly. I appreciated the consistency and personalization across our visits- whether it was from Kevin at 5:30 AM before a trip to Machu Picchu, Karina and Stheep during a leisurely late morning meal, or Diego and Irma at our final visit before departing. Everyone we encountered throughout the restaurant was genuine, warm, and eager to please!The buffet and menu selections are plentiful, varied, and flavorful. There are multiple buffet setups (detox, gluten free, international, etc.) and a la carte options available. The place is wonderful, the food great and Eloy and Maribel were wonderful. Eloy served us in our room our first night. Maribel, was our server for breakfast and dinner the other days. They are wonderful people.
