If you are looking for great international food cooked home style in a relaxed ambiance under the trees, look no further. The owners are very attentive and charming. An added bonus is the art gallery that showcases works from both local and foreign artists.Had the bouillabaisse and it was amazing. They even make their own ice cream there (sesame, lavender, and other nice flavors).

We were in Tepoztlan recently and found this lovely restaurant that was not listed on TripAdvisor. It is not far off Revolucion and fairly close to El Nuestro Pan. The main building looks like a old house with thick stone walls, high ceilings, walk in fireplace, and antiques. The owner, Gustavo Gonzales said they built it that way only 20 years ago, but it sure fooled me. There is seating inside and also in the garden. I thought the main house was more romantic and cozy. It appeared to be very popular with the weekend visitors from Mexico City. It is only open in the afternoons for comida, but I am not sure if it is open all week. Do make a reservation. The creative menu was varied with options for non meat eaters. A separate room would be good for a larger party.

This restaurant is located in the paradise of Tepoztlan inside La Buena vibra resort.The set up is like being in a paradise. Lots of vegetation, the landscape is awesome.The service is one of the best I have seen and the food is superb.Strongly recommend the duck breast, it is one of the ones I have had.

I had a sample plate of smoked fish as good as in the best restaurants in big cities. Main course of salmon, spinach and mushroom lasagne. And a delicious tarte tatin for dessert. Good selection of reasonable wines (mostly French). I also appreciated the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.
