We found Amalthea searching the net on our trip between Meteora and Thessaloniki and commented how one place can have so many good reviews.After visiting the charming brothers we fully understand why and how. It is exceptional. From a quick lunch it became a long one.We had fish courses which where simple,tasty but refined with a twist,great wine and incredible desserts.We had the incredible nice brothers giving us full attention and writing us a handbook of great restaurants for our journey ahead.Thank you for memorable stay at your place and we hope to visit you soon again.Last comment: the prize was more than fair for the quality.We would like to thank you very much for your great review! In a very good location, with a very nice view from the large terrace to Panteleimon middle age castle and the beach line from Skotina to Katerini. Traditional Greek food, grilled mainly, with fresh salads and maze. Family owned with very polite and helpful staff. Try goat meatballs and home made tzatziki and milk cheese (galotiri).

Previously Quattro Venti, this newly refurbished bistro style restaurant has a revised menu and a fresh new look to match. We had delicious burgers on brioche buns and the very crispy chicken breast with mash - yummy! Great to see the level of service has remained high and as friendly as always. Prices not significantly different - 5 mains with a mixture of alcoholic and soft drinks came in at just under 60 euros, great value for money for a tasty meal with a sea view.

Hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet von herzhaft bis süà bis vegetarisch. Es gibt wechselnde unterschiedliche Eierspeisen, Wurst, Käse, Aufstriche, Marmeladen, verschiedene Brotsorten, Säfte. Am Wochenende gab´s auch Lachs und Prosecco zum Frühstück. Das Abendbuffet lies auch keine Wünsche offen. Es war sehr abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft. Es schmeckte nicht fad oder überwürzt. Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Eine groÃe Auswahl an Salaten, sehr gute und wechselnde Beilagen. Die Hauptgerichte waren auch sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Ich esse in Gedanken immer noch den Weltbesten Meeresfrüchtesalat :-) Vielen Dank an den Koch! Wer an den Büffets nichts findet ist selbst Schuld ;-)
