Another gem found in Llucmajor thanks to Trip Advisor reviews, less than 15 mins drive from our hotel in Son Antem. We enjoyed Mallorcan style candied lamb with a sweet potato puree (tasty, rich and sweet - alas that photo has been lost) and the pork tenderloin (lovely bbq and herb flavour - see pic) with a side of sweet potato fries/chunks. Whilst there is no specific kids menu, they offered a few options inc the omnipresent chicken nuggets (this time we opted for a baked potato side).An inviting rooftop terrace and friendly service - the home-made herb infused liqueur digestif was delicious and smooth! Our 7 yo was even offered a pretty non-alcoholic version (peach and raspberry). **Thumbs up all round.** Three main courses, soft drinks and a couple of beers came to â¬51.

We went for lunch. The place was deserted when we arrived so were slightly worried but it soon filled up (the power of seeing others eating). The food was perfect for lunch. Freshly cooked and a really good choice. Can't fault it and would definitely recommend it for those not looking for fine dining but good honest food well cooked and good value with a nice ambiance.

Sa Placa serves good quality fresh food and excellent (and cheap) local wines. We sat with friends at an outside table looking out onto the main square full of families enjoying themselves, eating, drinking, and listening to music in the warm evening air. The bread and alioli was excellent my baked salmon fillet enormous and delicious, my wifeâs vegetarian noodles equally good. The wine, a local Alberino, was super (at euros 2 per glass).The service was friendly and efficient, the loos were spotless, the prices reasonable, everything was good, we left feeling well fed, very mellow, and happily relaxed.

A Bar-restaurant with a very nice terrace overlooking Sineu's market square. Inside you will find a very cosy ambiance and a beautiful decorated interior. Food is not typical spanish, but very international,and tasty dishes with a different twist. Try out

La Mulata is one of the most amazing bistros on the island. Iâve visited a lot of them over the last years. But the way service is done here and the way the food is tasting, itâs extraordinary. Besides the cathedral, Tramuntana and the beaches, LaMulata is a must for everybody visiting Mallorca or is living here. Only one warning: once you experienced La Mulata, youâll be addicted to the place, the food and the people working there!!!! Itâs really amazing!

A restaurant set in the town's small park. It is tastefully decorated and chef José produces excellent food from a small but comprehensive menu including vegetarian options. Very good value 'menu del dia' - 3 generous courses plus wine for â¬10.

We visited this restaurant again, a couple of times during our recent visit to Porreres. We really like the park location, no passing cars bathing your food with fumes, which is a bit of an issue in the evening at restaurants in the centre of town. The food is simple but tasty, whether a special of the day or a pizza and salad and the service is attentive and very friendly. We enjoyed listening to the local Porreres drummers practice during our second visit! We look forward to visiting again next year.

We dutifully checked out Trip Advisor in our search for a dinner venue and found Vin-es, we were not disappointed! This delightful restaurant set in Sineuâs old railway station complete with the original ticket counter was really lovely!! Food, we both had the lamb ribs which were delicious and my chocolate fondant pud was an indulgent delight!! My wife gave the Chardonnay a thumbs up too!! Highly recommend this restaurant, weâll be back too!!

We always eat multiple times here during our holiday: the food is great (and not just the tapas, the main dishes are so good) and the owners are just the loveliest people. Family meal with my wife and 4 children. Staying at the Marriott so this is an easy 10 minutes away. Lots of choice in the square at Llucmajor but a lot is distinctly touristy. Not so here. A genuinely pleasant experience with freshly prepared, interesting dishes from an encouragingly limited menu - always a worry if there is a vast choice. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Booking essential.
