This was not a very good restaurant. The service was very average with one of the waiters spending most of his time watching a football match on the television, even when taking orders. The staff had to be called over for everything from getting water to replenishing drinks. The place is very noisy and so conversations at one end of the table were just not able to be heard at the other. As for the food - well the grilled lamb was good but not just well matched at all to coleslaw. And it took over an hour for the meals to arrive! It was generally not a good experience and so it is difficult to match this with other very positive reviews - clearly it is a bit hit or miss, and unfortunately we missed.I am sorry you didn't enjoy your experience at The Mediterranean as we pride ourselves on good food and service. Can you please get in touch with me so I can take it further and properly train my staff. We would like you to give us another go as that is not what The Mediterranean is about.Chris

This was our first visit to this great restaurant. Will not be our last !Friendly staff, explained fish available & how it can be cooked.Husband had Tuna Sashimi declared was excellent, I went with garlic prawns ,Son had Seafood Beach Basket , looked & tasted great.Highly recommend.Thank you we are really glad you enjoyed your meals and experience it will be a pleasure to see you again. I had High-Tea with 2 friends. The service was impeccable as is the setting and food. A pianist playing in the background, we were surrounded by exquisite plants and flowers which could be purchased. Prices very reasonable considering the quality. Who would think that High-Tea could be enjoyed adjacent a supermarket!! Believe me, try it!!
