A visit to this restaurant is a must in Malmö, I have lived in Malmö my hole life and this is by far my favorite restaurant. As I read the other reviews I really do not recognize their experience and I have visited Sankt Markus Vinkällare over ten times. Although every visit differ in experience and I hope they try it again to get the same experience as I have. First of all, every birthday I wish to go to Sankt Markus with my girlfriend and everytime we have gotten great service all the way from the coat room to the table. The food is fantastic in my opinion and it has always been top quality, with that said I have never been there during christmas so I have no opinion when it comes to the christmas table. I have sometimes experienced longer lines but that is to be expected when its a buffé. However, I have never experienced that the cheese or desert isnt refilled when empty. The only Con I have for the restaurant is that the price might be a bit steep but for me it is worth the experience.

We visited this place in December 2018. Regarding the food; the meat was hard to cut and some dishes were tasteless. In addition if you are very hungry and/or a big eater you may not get full. However the wine was excellent. The owners and waitresses were nice but the English could be improved (especially by removing a very strong dialect), since it was sometimes hard to understand what they said when presenting the food.However the place is interesting and the environment is cosy.

I had a business trip in malmö and wanted something typical but original. It is definitely not a mass restaurant, they take their time, great service and original food. Still think it is supposed to be in the higher price category here in trip advisor, a glass of wine costs you 15⬠and there is only one 4 course meal per day so you have little to choose from.

I was hopeful of finding some kind of different vegan experience whilst in Sweden, having traveled via Copenhagen and I was not disappointed by this dining experience.Each course was fantastic: cheese platter to start, pizza for main and chocolate cake for dessert. It was a faultless meal and my partner and I enjoyed the laid back environment and conversational staff. I am now even following my server on Instagram and she I, it was such a pleasant personal experience in a very cosy setting.Not just for the vegan community but certainly an exceptional experience for the vegans of us who are ever desperate to find great vegan cheeseI couldn't recommend enough anyone who finds themselves in Malmo try this place. The local beers on offer were equally as good as the food and, all in, there wasn't a single fault I could find.
