We really enjoyed our dinner dining experience and decided to return the next morning for breakfast. Both meals were fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. The presentation was first class. The service was excellent and praise goes to Rodrigo Kepfer who took care of our every need. He truly made our dining experience extra special. Off the beaten path but simply amazing food. We had ceviche for an appetizer which was awesome. Surf and turf and steamed tilapia were the entrees and they were simply perfect. Steamed tilapia came with vegetables and shrimp. Too much food for one person to eat - I would share an entree next time. Thank you so much for such an amazing review for Restaurante Nenes!

We walked down towards town from Hotel Lomas del Volcan and most of the restaurants were quiet but this one was very busy. So we went in and ordered dinner and was not disappointed. I think the owner served us and he spoke good english and was very helpful with the menu.Lovely food and enjoyable evening in a busy restaurant.Highly recommendedMe alegra mucho que te gustaran los alimentos y el servicio para nosotros es un placer tenerlo por aqui esperando pronto tenerlo de nuevo.

This food is beyond delicious and the atmosphere is really nice. Service is very welcoming and helps with recommendations. We ordered the Grandma's Chicken in Banana Leaves and Risotto with Chicken and Shrimp and weren't disappointed. The Chardonnay was a great addition to the Risotto. Our family really enjoyed the delicious, non-alcoholic drinks and the fresh, flavorful food served at La Caribena. The incorporation of coconut milk, delicious seafood, and some Caribbean spice was a nice change of pace during our travels. Frank and Geovani were very friendly and provided great service. Despite being near the highway, this was a family-friendly dining experience that allowed us to relax to reggae music and refuel after a day of adventure.Thank for visiting us.
