Reviews on International food in Gouda, South Holland Province, The Netherlands. Lying about 15 miles northeast of Rotterdam, Gouda is most famous for its eponymous cheese. One of its most prized attractions, De Waag on the town square, was once a weighing house for cheese traders and now features an exhibit detailing the entire cheese making process. Also on the square is the 15th-century town hall, one of the oldest in the Netherlands. On Thursday mornings during the summer, the town’s Markt turns back into a traditional cheese market, something not to be missed.

I ordered here twice. The first time order was not complete when I arrived home. After a few calls to restaurant, they solved it by giving me discount next time I order again, as long as I saved my receipt. The second order the waiting time was taking very long and I threw away my receipt, because you could read much on it anymore. So no discount for me.The food good. The best I have tasted so far in Gouda.

a cute place in a lovely location in the historical center of Gouda. We just were to have a coffee and tea ( very nice coffee and a good collection of organic teas) but we order at the end also a piece of delicious apple cake the staff so kind also and it looks they have special menus and a good collection of liqueurs so...I'm quite shure is not going to be the last time I visit the place

We went on a Saturday evening making a booking at very short notice. Booking is needed on many nights. We failed to get in on our previous 2 attempts. The staff are very welcoming. We arrived a little early for our table and were seated at the bar with a drink on the house while we waited for our table to clear. The food was excellent with one of the best burgers I have had anywhere. The entrecote was also beautifully cooked. The grand dessert which we shared was magnificent with seven different mini desserts.Excellent review. Very happy with.Thank you.

Brasserie Copper is ontstaan door mensen met een grote passie voor horeca. Naast een grote liefde voor eten en drinken, draait het ons uiteindelijk om de gast. Wij bieden onze gast service met een lach, beleving en een echt avondje uit! Een all-day restau
Very cool brasserie, nicely decorated in an industrial setting, with wooden floor and tables. The menu is very good and the food is of high quality, but at reasonable prices. Check out their special grill items! Also, the winelist is great, with a few surprising wines... service is excellent, very friendly and attentive ladies. This is the place to eat or sip a glass of beer or wine in Gouda!

Of all restaurants in Gouda this one is special. They opened up less then a year ago and straight from the start they were in the lead. It's absolutely worth the walk from the city centre (about 8 min. walking distance). What's so special? Well let's start with the fact that they will serve you almost every wine they serve by the glass. You'll probably end up purchasing the whole bottle anyway ;-) Live lobster in a tank! Ask for the trip around the world and the chef will prepare a variety of small dishes you will come back for.

The restaurant is situated along one of the canals in Gouda and has a traditional interior with a wooden floor and a fireplace. The food is of a good quality and according to some of our group the vegetarian main dishes are very good. The difference for me between very good and excellent is the lack of the wow factor, of the surprise in taste and presentation. The service is friendly and professional. It was for instance possible for them that we could order a dessert that's not at the menu: a little of this (sweet desserts) and a little cheese. Top! With regard to the wine I would suggest the antinori.
