My friend and I went to Safari Rest and Café because there was a band playing there that it was awesome! Also, people seemed to e enjoying their food. The service was also very friendly.Iâm not sure about the rest of the menu, but the meat fondue was simple awful. Almost inedible. The worst I ever had. Maybe itâs not their specialty. I would go back there again if the same band was there playing, but I would definitely eat something else.

The music starts earlier than most places and we really enjoyed it. The service sucks. So enjoy the music and if you have lots if time and are not too hungry or thirsty, go for it.

Don't waste your time going to popular places if you want a good quality fondue. I made a reservation on my birthday to my wife and my little girl and the reception was quite exceptional. Good environment (very classic), good service and good food. A little bit pricey but it worth the value to be honest. I do recommend.Renato, thanks for rating us. It has been a lot of help. A nice unpretentious restaurant with honest food. Salad came in a very small portion but of quality. I had a tender and tasty lamb carré. Friends who ordered trout were also happy.Service was OK.

I was attracted by an Ad "fresh apfelstrudel at 16h". Let's try... the atmosphere is cozy. Good, broad, french style cafeteria. A smooth background soun. Now the worst part.. prices. A really small portion of apfelstrudel costs 18 brl. A kg is 90 brl. Not sure if this is the fair price, but it is very expensive to me.Free parking, at least.BR

Very comfortable, extensive menu, chose the three german sausages with potatoes and i thought sauerkraut, i got the sausages potatoes but red cabbage, they dont know what sauerkraut is. My wife had bacalau very little fish, lots of potato and boiled egg, why? Mibe was covered in salt they completely ruined good food, dont they know sodium kills people. Water was R$4.70 for a tiny bottle for one. The bill for 3 of us was R$210 thats very expensive in brazil considering the monthly wage is only R$800. And to top it all i was charged R$8 per person for musician that i didnt even ask for, i mean why play music at lunchtime, at least have the courtesy to ask if you want it or not, those who decline can sit in a quiet area. Would i go again. NO not at thise prices, dont mind paying for good food if i enjoy it, but it was really not that good at all.

Service is great, location is good but food is average! Price is good.We ordered the fondue sequence (cheese, meat and chocolate), cheese fondue was mixed with something that for sure is not cheese, chocolate fondue was too sweet and sauces for the meat fondue were lacking inspiration and taste.Unfortunately not going back there, food has to improve to the same level of service.

We went there with great expectations following some reviews. The setting is comfortable, including a fireplace. Service was slow. Food was fine, but not especially tasty or inventive. Dinner generated at least a major story to pass along: by the end of the meal, a spider got down from somewhere directly to the wine glass of one of our friends (who happens to be a wine specialist...). Of course, no one could guess from where it came, the glass was changed, etc. That was a first for us.
