I went for lunch, and found very good choices in "all you can eat" system, with German and international kitchen. I tried the duck, the pork knee ("eisbein"), the cabbage pickle and the sausages. Everything well prepared and tasty. Location is a plus with a nice view of the Itajai-Acu river. My host told me that the place was even better in the past, but the last floods ripped off the nice garden surrounding the river.

Ontem tivemos o privilégio de conhecer o Estrangeiro, não apenas o restaurante mas também o chef Gavin. E posso dizer que foi apaixonante, sua comida é maravilhosa, repleta de sofisticação e um ótimo tempero. Recomendo o Smoked Duck (Peito de pato defumado) como entrada e de prato principal Flat Iron com couscous, porém se você quiser provar estes pratos melhor se apresar porque ele muda com frequência. O restaurante é pequeno, é melhor reservar o ambiente é descontraÃdo. Ele está apenas a 3 meses com seu restaurante, é super atencioso e compartilhou conosco um pouco das suas ideias e das suas receitas.Eu voltarei ao O Estrangeiro em breve com muita fome!
