Having heard about the hotel food, we decide to stop over for lunch after our trip to Soochippara waterfalls. Reached here at around 2:30 in the afternoon, which is I guess a bit too late in Kerala for lunch. Much famous fish fry was over and the only option was fish curry meals. Fish curry was bland with not much spice as is expected in this part of Kerala and offcourse to suit my pallette too. ;-)In general the food was OK and I wish I could try their famous fish fry next time. Payasam was tasty which made up for the lost delicacy.

Must visit place when returning from pookade lake, wayanad..we ordered for a ''food lounge non veg special lunch'' @ Rs. 160/- ..which was worth the price which had fish curry, dry vegetable, chutni, 4 pcs of supperb chicken 65, spicy butter milk, curd and payasam for sweet with two chapatis and a bowl of special kerala rice...I being a goan have tried almost all types of fish curries but can definitely tell youll that food lounge's curry and chicken 65 was one of its kind...Must visit restaurant with decent interiors, class apaart service, awesome taste..it was worth it..I cud not resist writing such a long review on one of the best lunch had in wayaanad...!dear guest,Thank you for dining at food lounge restaurant. The restaurant in Woodlands hotel is one of the best with excellent vegetarian food, nice ambiance and good service. The restaurant has good decor and is maintained neat and clean, We had lunch from here and must say that it was one of the best meals we had after leaving Ernakulam. The staff are attentive and though it took thabout 20 minutes to serve us the food we were not annoyed because of the polite way in which they behaved. Nice restaurant to dine with family or special guests.

This very comfortable restaurant is actually located within the Ekobarn Best Western hotel. Although the weekday menu is very limited, the meals we had there were quite enjoyable. Food was tasty and moderately spicy and served quickly by pleasant staff and in ample quantity. It was a shame we were not able to try many of the other delicious sounding dishes off their complete weekend menu, when the tandoori is also lit. Well worth dropping by.

Had been here for dinner during my stay at Kalpetta.Dishes Ordered: Praws Roast, Mushroom Masala, Appam, TeaPraws was tasty, Mushroom could have been better, Appam was mind blowing, tea was super !!
