Found this little gem on Tripadvisor - so glad we did. For a taste of real South African good- highly recommended.We enjoyed the Springbok carpachio and the braaiied chicken skewer- perfectly cooked. Attentitive service made for a real treat. Down a side road- so use the TA map to find it.

It was a chilly Saturday during a long weekend in August...we stopped at Graskop for a bite to eat and it was a bit of a disaster to be honest...Graskop was busy and the restaurants were packed so we popped into this establishment for a bite...the poor staff were overwhelmed and not coping at all...apparently there was only 2 of them and they were fast losing the battle. Big up to Hazel for getting us to wait for our snacks which took ages...we eventually got up to leave but she convinced us to wait it out, so kudos to her~ Personally I believe the owners should take the rap on this as it was a long weekend and they were so not geared for it at all. We were also not alone and most of the patrons were not happy. Food was okay but unfortunately not worth the wait...sorry guys, I dont like to do negaive reviews but it is what it is~
