I visited Banjara on 5-Aug-18 as soon as I checked in at my Airbnb apartment after landing in Jo'burg. I was in Bedfordview and the Bedford Mall was just 5 minutes walk. I saw a huge advert hanging in the centre of the mall stating Banjara Festival.Indians love their curries and fries and I am no exception. I was hungry and it was almost time for dinner. I entered this lovely restaurant, ordered Butter Chicken and Bread and cherished every bite of it religiously. The order came very quickly service was with a smile and the best part was the bill - It did not pinch me at all. If I am not wrong I must have swiped my card for something less than 100 Rands. I was very happy.

Had a very good chicken masala and lamb korma with garlic nan. Good friendly service good quantity and reasonably priced. Would certainly come again when looking for Indian food.

It is not often I've found a restaurant that serves tasty Lamb Curry but The Classic India has been a good find.My wife and I went there recently and were pleasantly surprised. The place had that really professional look about it, the service was good, the food exceptionally tasty, and prices reasonable. The only complaint was that our food was not hot when it arrived at the table and we had to ask the waiter to have it heated.We have since ordered from their take-away menu, and have had our curry delivered within 30 to 40 minutes. It has become one of our favourite restaurants.
