When you're tired of Belizian food stop by Belmopan and give The Everest Restaurant a try! Your host Raj is a gracious, lovely skilled cook. He's Nepalese and really knows his art. We had an incredible meal prepared just for us one afternoon a few weeks back Raj was affable and friendly his kitchen is imaculate and his cooking style is absolutely down home Nepal. I spent many years going back-and-forth to Kathmandu and this brought me right back to Thamel. The atmosphere the food and the place are just sweet. rRaj is an amazing cook as well as a great warm character. The quality of the food was excellent. We had, Pakoras, chili paneer, butter chicken, fresh garlic nan chai and Lassies. For desert he made us a real sweet Pan. What a treat. Price was commensurate with the quality, with every BZ$. Truly everything was brilliant just wonderful! Who would think you would find REAL Nepalese cooking right here in good old Belmpan, Belize. Enjoy!

Compared to it neighbor. Shekar Indian restaurant is truly better in terms of taste and price. I truly enjoyed the spices in cauliflower( it's in beautiful red) and other vegetables. It's rare to eat many kinds of vegetables in a meal, which is definitely healthier. Curry in chicken or beef. Also, I drank the nice natural juice here. Moreover, the owner is very friendly and I won't forget his hospitality and sincere( much more honest and sincere than other Indian restaurants ). If you want to try Indian food in Belmopan , this is the best choice for you !

We stopped in for dinner, very excited for some Indian food & left after one round of drinks & appetizers. The rum punches were very weak, the samosas were completely flavorless and the papadums tasted like old burnt oil. There were none of the standard Indian condiments, just a thin tamarind sauce. Needless to say we did not stay for dinner.
