The butter chicken was divine! The Staff was super friendly and asked several times if everythimg was okey. I would absoloutely go there again!! They should think of changing to other lightbulbs with a warmer shade. But that has nothing to do with the amazing food, Just the atmosphere:) but I would recommend going there

Delicious food! Similar to other reviewers we too felt like a change from Italian food during our week in Venice. So glad that we chose here. We debated because there were only 65 TA reviews when we checked. I asked them about this, they explained they had only opened 3 months earlier. So this and being located a bit further out from the centre explained the low number of reviews. The high rating is well deserved and I'm sure they will do very well. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that it is up there with the best Indian meals we've had, anywhere. We were pleased to see pakora on the menu. I had the Veg pakora and hubby had the fish pakora. For mains I had Aloo Gobi and my husband had a lamb chop dish. Everything we chose was excellent in terms of quality, freshness and taste. My only disappointment was that I was so full I was unable to finish my Aloo Gobi. (I took my leftovers back to our apartment and had it as a late night snack the next evening.) We had a bottle of white wine and a bottle of water. Neither of us had any room for dessert. At around 85 euros it may seem a bit on the expensive side for Indian food but it's on a par with the prices in Venice and absolutely worth every penny.They have a few tables on the canal but we chose to eat inside. The place was spotlessly clean and fresh though there is nothing special about the decor. Pleasant friendly staff and good service. We were given a free glass of prosecco on arrival and a free liquor at the end of our meal - a nice touch. Both were very palatable. We both agreed that if we had made our first visit to this place earlier in our holiday we would have most definitely been back. First time in Venice and unfortunately no time for a second visit this trip but it will be one of our first stops next time we visit Venice.
