We arrived just before 6pm on a weekday, so perhaps it was an odd time to visit/dine as there was no one else there. In spite of the fact that we hadn't booked a tour, the staff were very amenable in giving us a quick tour of the winery and a tasting.
We ordered medium ("a point") steaks with frites and the basket of wonderful warm bread promised great things. Unfortunately, the main meal was awful! Both steaks were over-cooked and barely chewable. The "frites" were microwaved oven chips (we heard the microwave ping!) and the the mixed vegetables were straight out of a tin.
The service was good and the ambience was pleasant, but the quality of the food was awful for the price paid!

Bardawni means Zahle in a way or another...so if you have the chance to visit Zahle and don't eat in berdawni restaurants it's like you haven't been in Zahle believe me...many restaurants that offer lebanese traditional food...best two restaurants there are Casini Arabi and Casino Mhanna...go there you won't regret it!!!

One of the best Lebanese food restaurant in Lebanon... We had the traditional Lebanese mezze that includes hummus, baba gannouj, fattouch, cheese garlic rolls, basterma and many other items... We had mixed grill platters; kebabs, grilled chicken taouk style, beef meat... We had whiskey Johnny walker black label... Food taste is great and high food quality... Excellent service and friendly staff... Nice setting near the Berdawni River... It is recommended

Simply one of the best restaurants in Lebanon: friendly, welcoming, pleasant, excellent food quality and presentation, accommodating, going their way out to please the client, reasonable, and not expensive. A great value, and one of the best in the country.

I've been there many times...they have great food...open buffet on Sundays...their restaurant is nice...the rooms are comfortable...the setting is great...there are trees around it...you can walk there like you are walking in nature...I like this place...

We ordered the chicken shish combo plate and the portions were enormous. The shish was most, french fries freshly prepared. I really like the bread with susami seeds. The humus was the side was an extra treat. Lots of people in the restaurant so it was evident the place was a local favorite. When in Zahle, this is the place to eat.

This is a very cute little wind bar situated in an old building. Take a seat at the window bar overlooking the street below. We visited at Christmas time so a glass of wine and cheese fondue was exactly what we needed to stay warm!
