During our recent stays in Playa Blanca, this has become our default choice for a cocktail or a coffee. It's a chill-out sort of place with constant background music, situated on the Avenida Marjtima with views of the port, the bay and right over to the Marina Rubicon and beyond. It has tables and chairs out on the pedestrianised Avenida, with heaters for the winter evenings and nights. Inside there are a number of very comfy sofas and armchairs from which to enjoy the view or the music or even a football match with no sound. The staff are young and very friendly. Its price perhaps reflect the fact that.it's not a standard cafe bar. In fact, other than some lovely ice cream concoctions, I don't think that they do any food at all. I imagine that at the height of the season it may be full of young, beautiful people but we're in our sixties and we love it.

We have visited Playa Blanca numerous times over the past few years and this is our favourite ice cream shop. We have just returned and visited daily (sometimes twice a day)!! Ice creams are delicious and only €1 a scoop and my son highly recommends the Nutella crepes, they also serve great coffee and everything is reasonably priced. All staff are friendly and service is always with a smile - thank you all Nuovo Gelato & see you soon!!

We stopped here by chance when we were driving to Golfo and happened upon the Salinas (salt evaporators). The restaurant has a great view perched above them. We just had drinks and a couple of tapas so can't speak for overall food quality but seemed pretty good. Not the cheapest place but I guess reasonable for the view, and even though we only had tapas they gave us a chupito with the bill.

So glad we found this place. We visited here about three times, going out of our way to get there on some occasions because it was so good. They had such a large range to choose from and great generous portions. I particularly loved the ferrero rocher ice cream and the lemon sorbet. The espresso's here are good also. The family who run this place were lovely and very friendly. If you love ice cream and don't want the generic stuff you can find in almost every bar or shop, make your way here, I promise, this place is a little hidden gem and you'll go back over and over like we did.

Located almost beside the post office is this Italian run snack bar . Ifyou need a refuel at lunch time then the pizzas are terrific and enormous and a great choice of toppings. coffee and cakes also excellent. Very popular with locals and has Seating both inside and outside. Staff efficient and friendly and prices good.

Situated on main road of Playa Blanca town this small cafe is very popular. It also bas very lo g opening hours-7am to 11pm. closed sundays. Cakes and savouries baked fresh each day. After a week of mediocre restaurants,this was rather like finding an oasis in the desert,welcoming service,pleasant atmosphere and an interesting menu ,although the long list of specials for the evening were enough to tempt any visitors.
We had a goat cheese and ham salad as a starter followed by home made pasta with clams ....superb ,simple cooking by people who know foods and then steaks that were cooked to perfection.Heaven on earth
