We stopped at Grantadams (why one word?) on our way to Chatham. My colleague Chip, in his seemingly never ending quest for the perfect butterscotch shake, insisted we stop. His order--a butterscotch shake, obviously--satisfied his love for scorched sugar. I had the baby dip cone, a real value at $1.25, it hit the spot without being overfilling. We recommend enjoying the frozen sweet treats from Grantadams should you be passing through the cradle of governors.

Visited this place for the first time and how I was surprised. This is owned the Louisiana teen challenge organizationn, and the staff members are all in the program. I have never had such an excellent, courteous wait staff. These guys truly care for you. The place is exceptionally clean. All food is prepared from scratch, the kitchen was making Curley fries from potatoes while we were ordering. They have a variety of foods and all are reasonably priced. The hand dipped Icecream is excellent, and they have around 10 choices of made fresh fried pies. Complimentary chips and salsa are at your table. Food, 10+, cleanliness, 10+, waitstaff, 10+, prices, 10+, overall experience, superior. I have never given a food establishment such a high rating. Give this Christian restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!

I was hoping for a quick, easy, and cheap meal while passing through Winnfield, but I wanted to support a local restaurant rather than get fast food. I'm glad I found Lynda's!
I was in and out in a short time, the staff was super friendly, I paid less than $10, and most importantly, the food was good!

Had not been here in a long time due to past experiences. The things we did not like in the past looked to be corrected. The place was clean (smelled clean), food was good, and server was very friendly.....all welcome and needed changes.

Daughter and I had the seafood platter and the fried shrimp plate. Seafood platter had fried catfish, shrimp, oysters, fries, coleslaw, pickles, and hush puppies. Seafood and coleslaw tasted very fresh. We didn't care for the hush puppies. Friendly service. Will be back soon.

Located on the city square across from courthouse. Nice huge shop with kids merchandise and art exhibit and dinning area. This place has some political signs of governor Earl K.Long and a Paul Newman photo as Earl from the movie "Blaze". The staff was helpful and very friendly. The lunch selection was great and the food was delicious !! Place had hometown atmosphere with pleasant surroundings. Very clean !! Would definitely return- !!

If you like barbecue, this is the place in north Louisiana. Everything on the menu is great but we especially like the ribs, brisket, and the barbecue baked potato. The potato is beyond enormous...loaded with all the meats on the menu so order wisely....my wife and I get one between us and it is a challenge to finish it. The ribs and brisket are fall apart melt in your mouth....the kind you would like to cook but never quite accomplish! Note that RAF’s is take out only with no seating. It is located in a previous dairy maide type building. If you are driving through Winnfield, it is worth stopping and eating in your car! The 2 young men who own the place are great and living their dream of cooking and selling barbecue.

Just reliable McDonalds, nothing fancy, nothing to write home about other than being thankful for having one.

We made our annual stop at the Winnfield Sonic to look for improvement. Lost count of the number of times we have stopped in the past and never got a correct order. No change this stop.....simple order....cheeseburger, steak sandwich, and 2 drinks. Got 2 cheeseburgers! If you are going north on Hwy 167, stop at Jonesboro Sonic as it has always passed for us.

I've never been a huge fan of fast food and this spot is far below my expectations. The fish sandwich used to be my BK favorite, but this visit, the fish was overlooked and dry. Bleh...won't be coming back here again. Not even good for fast food. Friendly service at the drive through is the best thing I can say.
