On our way to Edmonton from Chetwynd, we decided to stop at the Crown and Anchor. It was very nice decorated and the atmosphere was great. Full pub fare, darts, pool tables and a bar.
Service was quick and the food delicious. I had a pizza with two items for $11 and my wife had wings on sale that at for 45 cents each. She loved the sweet Chile flavour. My daughter had half an order of nachos and it was very good. Enough to share with us. My son in law had a Sandwich with fries, though he thought the fries were too salty.
Overall great experience.

We ate twice at this restaurant and both times the food and service was very good, plenty to eat but not over the top. The staff are very friendly and helpful with local knowledge and price is reasonable. Would recommend this restaurant ant time and will eat there again when in the area

The Kazoleas family have owned & operated Mountain Pizza & Steakhouse since 1978. We are committed to fresh quality food with a great atmosphere.
Been years since I have ate at Mountain Pizza.
Cajun shrimp were amazing. Big shrimp and great flavours.
Had a great bacon wrapped filet. Cooked to perfection with tasty baked tomatoes.
Great service and meal. Consistently amazing for many years.
Definitely would go back again.

We went to My Little Saigon on the advice of a co-worker who had been spending a lot of time working in the Whitecourt area. It's located off the main drags but is easy to find. It was surprisingly quite there that day and we had no problem getting a seat. The meals were fantastic and large portions. You definitely get your money's worth here! Service was great and the staff were friendly.

I love a good donair and have sampled donairs all over the place and this one is a find! They are massive and I always order the small and it is more than enough for lunch. My favorite is loaded with dill sauce. They also have sweet sauce but I prefer the savoury version. Poutine is great as well!

Had a great lunch plate, the lunch special plates are the perfect size and they all taste great. The server is very friendly and prompt getting orders in and out, great fast food without being "fastfood".

Love to have an option of lunch or brunch, we all went for different!
My breakfast poutine was yummy, but I found the potatoes too big for my liking, would ask for smaller hash brown type instead.
The eggs Benedict got a thumbs up, large serving, and the hollandaise was very tasty.
The burger was also great, loved the sauce, tons of fries, and the side Caesar salad was nice and fresh.
Will defiantly try here again, lunch maybe?.

The young lady that would eventually be our server was outside having a smoke as we entered the restaurant. There were eight tables in the section we entered…three were occupied and four hadn’t been cleared after the last customers. We took the remaining cleaned and set table.
The guy across from us had finished his meal and sat awaiting his bill. Eventually, his waitress showed up with the bill and the portable debit machine. She left it will him and went to another section to wait on tables. He ran his card through and waited for the waitress to return. She continued to run back and forth placing orders and carrying out orders. Eventually, as she came by, he stood up with the debit card machine in hand. She smiled at him then proceeded to take the orders of the patrons at the table opposite him in the adjacent section. He sat down again and she never did return to retrieve the machine from him. He eventually flagged down our waitress and handed the machine to her.
Our waitress took a while to get to us, but the wait was worth it once the food arrived. We had absolutely no complaints about the meal. Our waitress did return once to refill our drinks then mixed the diet and regular glasses up. The lady at the table down from us flagged her down to ask for a refill of hot water for her tea and a coffee for her husband. The hot water arrived but not the coffee.
I saw one waitress take a bowl of soup to the back. Our waitress took some salad and chick peas to the back as well. The third waitress went back to chat with them leaving the place without wait staff. The third waitress made three trips past our table, each time noting that we were waiting for our bill. Each time she said “I will get your waitress.” It didn’t happen.
Eventually the third waitress brought our bill and the debit machine. I told her a 55 minute wait for a bill was ridiculous. She immediately shot back that we could have gone to the front till to check out. “After all,” she told me, “You should realize this is the suppertime rush.” …so much for the motto that the customer is always right. My question is why she passed us three times saying she would get our server if we were expected to go to the front to pay. I also ask why any waitress would take a smoke break and supper break if indeed the suppertime rush is an issue. To make matters worse the debit machine didn’t work at our table…there was no Internet service. We had to go to the front to pay. What this place needs is someone to coach their wait staff on customer service and efficiency. They don’t need more staff, just more efficient staff.

Super friendly waitress that served me quick and the food was quality that I thought could only come out of Edmonton. The salmon was a nice big portion and reasonably priced.
