Splendid meal. We wanted a family meal across 3 generations and were not disappointed. Everyone was hugely welcoming and knowledgeable. Although 3 of the mains were over cooked, they were very quickly sorted out, apologies made and re-served without question. The maitre d' was very friendly and all staff worked hard. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Outstanding! The menu selection was awesome, I could have picked anything from the menu.
I had the duck croquettes, a duck and potato pate deep fried in bread crumbs, cod loin with white wine, onion and mushroom sauce followed by a malteaser cheesecake.
3 courses for £25 on mothers day and I would say it was worth it, normally this is a little cheaper but the quality is always the same.
The kids menu was the same full price as the adult menu after 6:00, but the assistant manager helped us out by honouring this even though we booked in at 6:30.
Great experience.

My favourite breakfast is an Eggs Benedict and I thought I'd had as good as it gets until I walked in the Sweet Pea Cafe, By far the best Eggs Benno I've ever had.
All the staff are really welcoming cool and attentive.
This is my new favourite cafe this side of the water.

For a family of food lovers its always difficult finding a good place but for lunch on Christmas eve at The Wro Lounge we found the right place. There was 12 of us for lunch and the food was exceptional. The flavours were superb, the food all served hot, without delay for all 12 and the service from the staff was 10\10.
I highly recommend this restaurant to all.

I took my mum and niece for afternoon tea today and we were all really impressed with the service. Such friendly staff and gave a homely feel.
The food was really nice too. Deep filled quality sandwiches. Homemade scones and cakes. Additionally homemade fish fingers, tartar sause and chunky chips (amazing) This was a really nice treat and would highly recommend.
Was £20 per person (didnt have to pay for the little one) so worked out £40 for us all. Some people mat see this on the high side for afternoon tea however i genuinely feel that it was worth every penny because of the amount, variety and quality of food along with great service.

We were having our car checked at the VW/Audi Centre on the Carr Lane estate and decided to go for a quick coffee while we waited. Sandy the Receptionist at VW/Audi recommended Chantillys which is just by the railway station, about 50 yards in fact.
We drove there and there is plenty of parking available nearby.
The cafe is bright, well decorated with ultra clean toilets.
Chatting to the delightful young lady who served us, we found that the cafe is owned by Pam and Alex, who do all the cooking and baking.
The range of cakes, quiches and homemade pies on display was amazing.
Alex came out to talk to us. He was a baker with a large business supplying restaurants locally but decided to scale down as he neared retirement. All the bread on display was baked by Alex that morning.
We were only gong to have a coffee but ended up eating a bacon Sandwich and a sausage Sandwich each done on fresh bread. The bread was incredible and hard to describe how tasty it was. The texture was perfect.
The bill came to quite a low amount for what we had and we'd love to try lunch when we have the chance to visit again.

A beautiful Continental Style Bistro directly on the bank of the Marine Lake with views over the River Dee to Wales, to Hilbre Island and the open sea. We cater for beautiful breakfasts, lunches (including our Chef's home made specials) afternoon teas and our famous small plates and tiered specials. Our selection of wines has been specially picked and we do serve carafe's and half carafe's.(Unlike anyone else) The House Wine is especially good and our selection of beers is exceptionally good. This is a really nice friendly Bistro with everything you could wish for, fantastic views, fantastic food, fantastic drinks, fantastic staff and a "fantastic owner"

We went on the circular walk around the Marine Lake in bracing conditions - the thing that kept us going was the thought of a warming drink at Tanskeys! We split between the lavish hot chocolate and the mulled wine - both were great. Staff were friendly and we noticed were particularly good in helping a wheelchair user to compensate for the steps.
