Service was swift and friendly. Starter was out sharp which was great. My pizza was really filling and well cooked. Felt really satisfied after it. My partners meal was a different story although tasted great the portion she got of spag bol pasta was laughable. As were so hungry she ate but when went to pay mentioned it and the server just said yeah everyone has been complaining about it. I thought at least she would deduct something off the bill as we spent £40 plus. Also to charge £2.65 for a can of irn bru is a disgrace.

My partner and myself visited the karma last night .we hadnt been for about a year but as usual the minute you walk in the door the staff make you feel at home .all the staff are really friendly and really seem to enjoy working there . We were seated at a window seat at a table decked out in white linen and napkins and were served our drinks within a minute of ordering . We ordered haggis pakora and mussels in a mild curry sauce for starters .there were 6 big chunks of pakora with a balsamic dressed salad and a chilli sauce ( the haggis was really soft in a crispy batter and my missus said they were amazing) my mussels were easily the best ive ever tried .( the curry sauce they were in was fragrent and bursting with flavour .i highly recommend you try these) my missus ordered the south indian chilli chicken with pilou rice and i asked our waiter for his recommendation ( which turned out to be jairapor chicken ) with garlic nan . The guy knows his stuff ..both meals were amazing . The portions are massive and the quality of the food and service are probably the best weve ever experienced ..this place is a must if your a curry lover

Snow outside but was colder inside restuarant. We sat with our coats and scarves on which was a great pity as food was very good and waiting staff very friendly.

My wife and I had our regular visit here and I felt compelled to write this review.
We were greeted at the door by the restaurant manager who was his usual friendly, professional self and he seated us quickly.
We were then served by Siobhan who looked after us brilliantly from arrival until we left. Our wines were brought out quickly, at the right drinking temperatures and exactly how we like them.
Our starters arrived quickly and were tasty, our places were re-set for the mains in good time and our mains were outstanding. We had the rigatoni meatball pasta and the Nduja sausage prima pizza. All the food was excellent.
We have been eating here for years and this was the first time we have been served by Siobhan. She is excellent. Andrew also serves us regularly in Ask and he is the best waiter in the area by a long distance.
If other restaurants are Reading this, take a visit to Ask and see how great service is delivered.
Thanks to Ask for consistently outstanding service and excellent food.

We have eaten here a few times and the food is always to a very good standard with good portion sizes. Staff friendly and helpful. We normally go for dinner although nipped in for lunch here for first time 9/3/18. Lunch menu great selection along with great value. 5*

The former station and booking office on the commuter line from Glasgow to Edinburgh. Parking in the station car park. A little sad looking and in need of some refurbishment, can be very quiet. Service is very friendly and attentive. Food was mostly very good, the menu is very extensive and staff will be happy to advise.

I was not that impressed with my last take away from this restaurant a few weeks ago but thought to give them another chance last night, Friday 12th February.
I ordered Saag Ghost, Murgh Do Piaza, plain Nan and Pilau rice.
The Saag Ghost was bitter and lacked any spinach but worse the meat seemed to be beef rather than mutton.
The Murgh Do Piaza did have chicken but the gravy was basic curry with half cooked onion rather than there should have been twice cooked onion.
The Nan was not cooked through at one end which implies that the Tandoor may not have been hot enough or bread not left in to bake long enough.
The cost of this take away was nearly £19 but not edible and went to the dogs for their dinner.

Please remember this is part of a college and its the students that are making your food and serving your meals, and having gone their with friends on a recommendation we were so impressed. The service was excellent, the food superb, and the price was out of this world. You could have eaten a 3 course lunch with coffee for £10 - yes £10. I will be back.
