It is located along the Bois de Sioux River at its confluence with the Otter Tail River, forming the Red River of the North. Wahpeton is the county seat of Richland County. I loved the decor of this restaurant. It is very colorful, and the restaurant is kid friendly. However, I was disappointed that the burrito I ordered was tasteless. The ground beef looked like it has been seasoned but I couldn't taste any seasoning. Very boring.

We have been in many times. It is always a nice relaxed place to gather with friends or family. Great food!! A good selection of beer as well. Staff was very friendly and attended to our needs.

Growing up from small town to large town to big city back to minute town to very small city I've seen (and eaten) my way to know the difference between DQ's..
For whatever reason, this particular Dairy Queen is far superior than all those remodeled and re-branded franchises scattered about across the country.
TIP: Try it, order the "Ultimate" from the Breckenridge store and then travel 5 miles to the recently opened store in Wahpeton across from Wal-Mart.
You'll notice the difference...

Extensive menu. Breakfast is available all day! Great staff. Salad bar is boring, with fewer choices than I'd like. Asked for my burger to be cooked medium and was informed that the burgers were only worked one way. Server didn't know what vinaigrette was.
A great alternative to fast food.

Local owner and chef. Great sandwiches! I haven't had much on the menu, but what I have had is yummy! It is only pick up, but it is great to grab something to bring to work or the the field for the farmer! Would recommend to

You can't go wrong with eating at a Dairy Queen. The food and ice cream are awesome. The only disadvantage is the calories in ice cream in general. My suggestion is to order the mini or smaller size ice cream treats, just enough to satisfy those cravings.

I loved my food! I had the light sirloin dish, it was perfect. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice too, the lotions and things in the bathroom were a nice touch. Cute but not over done on the decor, everything was just right!!! I will be back!!!

Service, beverage refills, and speed of food getting to the table is only the lower end of mediocre, but it is this way at every Pizza Hut I have ever been to so while there is a TON of room for improvement, they are on par with the entire franchise. Food is good if you like the brand.

A great Chinese buffet located on Dakota Avenue in Wahpeton. There was a wide variety of hot food on the buffet. Downtown Wahpeton is a great place to visit. The street is lined with the most beautiful hanging flower baskets on the light poles and there are flowers and ornamental grasses planted on the street corners. There are some really neat stores on main street that are worth checking out.
