Vișeu de Sus (Romanian pronunciation: [viˌʃe.u de ˈsus]; German: Oberwischau; Hungarian: Felsővisó) is a town in Maramureș County, northern Romania, located at the confluence of the Vișeu and the Vaser. It has an area of 443 km² and administers one village, Vișeu de Mijloc (Középvisó). The first documentary attestation is in 1365.

Only 1.5 km away from the historical steam train, the Restaurant provides Romanian and Italian Cuisine and a large variety of Pizzas. During the summer we offer an intimate atmosphere on the Terrace, providing up to 50 seats.If you have the chance to visit us, we highly recommend you to try our special Lemonade of the House.

I've been to pizzeria Andra a couple of times. I have one single word to describe it: fabulous. The service was excelent, the food excelent and decent prices. I recommend!

After the trip with the steam train with stopped here for a lunch. We decided to eat pizzas which were very good. The waitress was a young lady and I can't complain about anything. She was fast, friendly and professional.
Good place which I would recommend.

I found a very good coffee here at Elefant and I enjoyed the atmosphere of this one table café. Depending on season this place can be a bit crowded in the summer time before mocanita steam train leaves but this time of year (September) this place is the right one to have a rest and/or a beer on the porch. Did I mention that they have a museum as well inside?

We arrived at this modern and lovely designed pastry and ice cream shop in the early afternoon. The place is European in style and in the flavors of the mouth watering cakes, pastries and ice creams. All are home baked in a French or Italian style by the local members of the owner's family. The prices are modest compared with Europe...
For all sweet tooth lovers, this IS the place. Highly recommended.
