halfway from Bogotá to the Magdalena valley, this is a good place to stop for breakfast, lunch or just drinks. It is an open bamboo construction, convenient for the hot climate. They specialize in arepas and chorizos, but there are other dishes as well. Very good lemonade!

Typical Colombian food done well within a beautiful courtyard. Definitely worth an extra few block stroll away from the main plaza. Also, note that the TripAdvisor map puts it much further than it actually is.

When we asked our hotel for directions, there was a hurried discussion about whether we would be safe. The conclusion was that since it was fairly early on Frday aevening there would be plenty of people in the street. It is only a few minutes walk from the main square but the location is not good. A few plastic tables at the side of the street. No accomodation inside. I would not recommend for foreugn tourists.

Afortunadamente queda un poco alejado de la plaza central, lo que me parece una cualidad por el ruido del centro. Aunque la decoración es común y no me agrado, los productos están bien aunque no excelentes por la relación calidad/precio. En el servicio si creo que está su fuerte. Pude tomarme una botella de vino tranquilamente.Gente muy querida

El sitio pequeño pero muy agradable, quien la atiende es la propietaria y es muy amable, Probé los sanduches de pollo y carne: muy ricos, a un precio favorable y de un tamaño ideal para una cena.
De cortesía me regalo un muffin de vainilla y chocolate que recién había salido del horno y estaba delicioso. Volví al siguiente día y aunque no pude probar la avena y los muffin de queso probé el Postre de chocolate también muy rico, dulce pero no tanto. La torta de zanahoria con piña también muy recomendada.
Me di cuenta que los postres del restaurante de al lado son los de ahí . Así que recomiendo también el de brownie con maracuya.

es una opcion novedosa para un pueblo tan pequeño, tienen gran calidad sus productos y un gran servicio. la unica falencia es su poca variedad en la carta.

Wholesome food served in a friendly family atmosphere. Authentic cuisine using fresh local ingredients. Pleasant ambiente with soft music played at a low volume, no loud racket. Road noise from passing trucks. Overnight parking allowed for overlanders.
