During our week at Le Anfore Hotel, we ate at the restaurant four times. So we got to sample a good part of the menu. And all of it was first rate. The pastas are particularly good--the spaghetti with clams, small pasta with sausage, another with tuna. The fish dishes were all fresh and portions generous. We only tried two desserts--the seadas and semifreddo, both excellent. Together with the setting, professional service and well priced selection of wines, it makes for a great in-house restaurant. Bravo!

Shared Mussels for starter - huge portion of plump juicy fresh mussels - delicious
Mains were equally satisfying & fresh - loved the spaghetti & clams.
Wine recommended by staff and met our requirements wonderfully

The restaurant is set within a farm on outskirts of Villasimius. The drive there with sun setting was stunning as well as the pretty Gardens. You see the suckling pigs roasting on the open fires as you arrive and you are free to explore the grounds.
All the food and wine we had was of great quality and "impossible to eat" quantity. We found it all very tasty and outstanding value at 32 EUR per person (16 per kid) for set menu of 5 courses.The atmosphere was relaxed, it was easy to enjoy the evening with children who could run in the garden. They wouldn't let us leave without having expresso and limoncello offering it at our departure. We thouroughly recommend visiting this restaurant.

Recommend you book in advance for a table and one upstairs on the Terrace overlooking the Piazza. Good restaurant for quality food in this town - mixed seafood starter and tuna steaks recommended.

We loved this restaurant - we had great starters (mix sea food for 15EUR is a must), fresh fish (~20EUR per person), mussels (our son loved them), various pastas with mussels and other sea food (try the typical Sardinian one - can´t remember the name)....MoreDear Costumer, we thank you very much and we hope to see you again in our Restaurant.

We are currently staying right down st the bottom of Sicily and have been exploring the villages close, and not so close, to us.
We found Su Giganti Restaurant through TripAdvisor and thought we would give it a try. Our Italian is diabolical and we were not sure how easy it would be to make a reservation. It was no problem though. When we called they found someone who could help us in English very quickly.
We went there for dinner. We had booed a table outside as it was fabulous weather. It is quite a small Terrace with probably no more than 10 to 12 tables. The atmosphere is great. Very Italian. Lots of talking and gesturing.
I started with the Spaghetti and Clams and the others had Parma ham and melon. My main was freshly caught king prawns and the other mains were ravioli and a pizza. Dessert was tiramisu and some fabulous pastry ravioli filled with cheese. Everything was lovely. We enjoyed a bottle of local Rose.
It was a great atmosphere, good food and sensible prices. I would recommend it.

This is a trendy wine bar serving approx. 50 different wines at varying prices. They also do beer and Aperol Spritz (which seems to be popular, no idea why!). There is some Seating on high stools and the rest is outside on bean-bag type things. Alongside their are platters of meats and cheeses. They do a good one for EUR 5, which for us was plenty for 2 people as an accompaniment to a drink but they do much larger ones which were more expensive. Waitress spoke good English and was very friendly. The place attracts some lovely stray cats- give them some of your ham! We came here every night during our 4-night stay.

If you are in Villasimius and you search good place to try some dolci sardi, visit La Perla. You can find there pardulas (called also fromagello) sweet Sardinian cookie filled with ricotta cheese, orange zest and saffron; Mustacioli (cinamon cakes), pastissus (Italian wedding cookies) and amaretti (almond cookies). All very good.

So good we ate there twice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is great. First visit started with a mixed platter for two - sausage,meat,cheese - delicious- followed by calamari - the best we have ever tasted - light batter and superb texture. The swordfish was good but a bit bland, Was a delay in getting the dessert which slightly let the service down on first visit. Went back a second time and had the calamari again, a very good risotto and delicious sea bream. Do go here to eat - it is great but not cheap. Had an ice cream with myrtle liquor - very nice. Fabulous view from restaurant when good weather.Only minor irritation - smoking was allowed in the restaurant. Would definitely go again. Suggest book in advance to have a view by the window.

We had a very good experience here, on a beautiful Terrace. I believe the pizza is better than the other food in the menu - which is anyway good. Service is friendly and price is fair. A place we returned another couple of times.
