I had dinner at this restaurant a couple of times during my business visit. The service is prompt and the staff speak good English. Food arrived in decent time and quantity was quite good. The salmon I ordered the first night and the Chicken ordered the second night were both cooked well and tasted nice

Usually you don´t expect a first class food in small cities like Valasske Mezirici. Wow, I have to say, this was the real surprise for me.
Professional, kind service, EXCELLENT soup (gazpacho) and brilliant main course (pork) with steamed vegetables really made my day. I haven´t eaten something so good for months. Parking lot right at the restaurant, Terrace, quiet location.
Absolutely recommended. I will definitely come back.

Nice place under the Stary Jičin castle. restaurant is in the cellar - this means there is not need any air condition :-).
Traditional czech cousine is served, meals are very tasty.
There are separated smokers and non-smokers parts, in non-smokers part, there really was no smell of smoke.
There are troubles with debit cards - time to time they are not able to accept them (becaouse of tecnical reasons).

Restourant is located on the corner near the city center and looks very nice from the outside. Interier is also very beautiful, service was nice and fast , they have big selection of meat and steaks on the menu . Only problem was that steak house has no NO SMOKING part so you cant enjoy you delicious meal without smell smokers all around you, its really pitty that you cant almost smell you own meal when they bring it to you. Make it non smoking and I will come back more often.

Located 100m from town square and in same building as a cinema. Al ponte have great salads and pasta! There is a parking place in front of the restaurant and much more behind corner. Prices are good and service is fast and nice, you can pay by card. If you going to the cinema there is popcorn and soda in cups sold in the restourant.

A more 'Traditional' style location, that has not been renovated for some years. The Main location is a smokers Bar/Restaurant as in the good old days, but you will come out as a non smoker stinking of smoke. Advantage of this place you will be able to order Food later than 20:00hrs and it's Home made, but at this late hour the majority of the daily menu will be sold out. The Menu is only in Czech, so take Google Translator with you or a real person. Beer is the standard, non Micro Brewery stuff.

We found this restaurant by a chance whilst cycling past the river Becva.
We probably had one of the best meals on our week's holiday there.
I ordered roasted eggplant with local cheese filling on a salad bed and it was simply lovely.
My husband had a slow cooked pork and it was also wonderful.
Drinks were very good too so was the nougat cake and coffee.
Service was perfect.
We parked our bikes right in front of the restaurant, there was also a car park.
Do not miss this restaurant when you are visiting Valasske Mezirici.

We went into this restaurant on basis of Tripadvisor recommendations and I must say that we were satisfied with all meals. We had carpacio with tasty hot rolls, rabbit with mashed potatoes, little dumplings with poppy seeds and chicken with potatoes for children and a homemade hamburger for my husband. His French fries did not look great but when he got ketchup, he found them ok. We were served rather fast but after the lunch suddenly noone seemed to care for us and after some time when children got nervous, my husband had to settle the bill at the bar as noone even came nearer so that we could ask for the bill.
