We fancied a change from our hotel food so came here for dinner, so glad we did as the food was amazing!! Simple food but with a twist. Service was great too. You should definitely go for dinner here if you are staying elsewhere.

We didn't have table reservation when we arrived. The first waitress passed us 6 times and totally ignored us. Finally the other waitress noticed us and told that it will take 20-30 min to get a table. We said that we can wait in the bar. We thought that it would be nice to just sit and have a beer or coke while waiting for the table. However, neither of the waitresses paid any attention to us - they came to the bar several times but we seemed to be invisible to them. We were just about to leave while the table was ready.
When the food came it was really good but the image we got was not that good because of the service. The restaurant was full but that is not a reason to totally ignore customers!

We stopped in here a couple of times during our week in Lanersbach and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food is standard fare with nothing elaborate although what there was was fresh, well cooked and tasty. I had an excellent burger.
The atmosphere is more cafe than bar and it would have had an extra mark but smoking permitted inside soured the experince.
The last time we visited there were several people smoking strategically spread around the restaurant to maximise smoke density and minimise escape, I won´t be going back because of that. We all smelled of smoke when we got home.

Highly recommend for lunch on Mountains. I had linguini, it was really big and so delicious. Fire places are really cosy. Only bad thing is that they brought are desserts before main dishes and they were cold when we started to eat.

Over the counter sales of hot and cold specialities you can eat there or to take away. Simple, local, delicious food at a very good price, almost all the time crowded by meat lovers. And after enjoying food there, you can buy there also pretty rare food to take home - for example wild boar ham, deer sausages etc. Really nice!

It's a nice traditional restaurant close to the center of the village. So points for location and decoration. However the food and staff were only mediocre and one gets the feeling that they don't see the need to put much effort in either as tourists will come anyway...

We ate here at least three times in our week-without a doubt the best restaurant in Lanersbach. We had steak, wintererpfandl (venison) and ribs-all of which I'd recommend. Service is exceptional and the environment is typically Austrian. All together superb.

Rooms are a bit small for two persons
Not a lot of closer space
Seperate toilet
Small bathroom with shower (temperature can change a lot while showering)
Bed , small but ok, but only thin curtains on windows, always light in the room, some heavy curtains are really needed
Tv, very small safe bit useless
Wifi slow and undtable
Sauna complex , one seperate nude part, one family part with small swimming pool. Infrared and family sauna don t function half of the time.
Small bar
Restaurant : food evening and breakfast ok for price paid, enough variation. Staff can be pushy to sell wine and when only drinking water you get less service
Ski cellar a bit rudimental... needs improvement
Location near tux bus 15 min ride to gletsjer

This is a mid mountain point with a restaurant, ski hire shops and a lively iglu bar for apres ski. In summer the cows graze this high. In May I saw marmots coming out of their burrows.

Wonderfully prepared and seasoned dishes imaginatively plated made this luncheon stop an exceptional experience. The entrecote steak was done medium rare and nicely seasoned, the underlying salad included fine touches of reduced balsamic vinegar, julienned peppers, herbs and roasted pumpkin seeds. The meat patties were a lovely surprise - 2 pieces, nicely seasoned, tasty gravy and root vegetables on the side that were perfectly done, still firm and flavorful. The parsley potato side reminded me of my grandmother: buttery and plenty of herb seasoning. Home made dishes, flavorful and creatively presented. All of this on a sunny Terrace with views into the valley to the stunning Hintertux glacier. The selection of dessert tarts looked outstanding, however with the generous salad bar to start the meal [price included] and hearty main course, we'll have to return to sample. Service was jovially friendly and very professional. In summary - highly recommended for fine and "gemütlich" Tirolean dining experience.
