I stopped here while on business. I was greeted and seated promptly. It was not busy at all on a Tuesday around 1:30pm.

There is a decent menu selection. I went with the mozz sticks app, and the barramundi filet for my entree that came with 2 sides; I went with baked potato and fries.

Mozz sticks were really good, great crust and filled with lots of cheese.

The fish filet was a tad overcooked which took away from the flavor but it was ok. The baked potato was a bit undercooked and he butter was frozen and came out in little packages I had to open. Butter should be on the potato when it goes out to the customer. The fries were fantastic.

My server was very friendly and attentive with refills and seeing how I was doing.

I would stop here again but not get the fish.

Although the food was good and reasonably priced and the staff were friendly, it was very poor service. Took almost 15 minutes just to get our water, and the food another 20 minutes. Since we had to eat very late the second night we went back and they were out of the food I tried to order. Was not impressed although what we did finally get tasted very good.

Ok for anyone in a hurry. Donuts and coffee and your back in the car. Coffee is better priced than most other chain stores. A VG is the best I can say.

I know the owners are new. We had breakfast there and it was really good! Service was good, food came out in a decent amount of time for a home made meal. It was hot. Eggs were done perfectly, pancake was big! Husband had eggs benedict (original) they have other types too.
Only bad thing I have to say is that the taylor ham ( pork roll - yum) was sliced very thin. Still a good place for breakfast in the area. We will def be back soon.

Always was put off by the old-time store-front entrance. My big mistake . Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming waitress who had no difficulty coming up with her own quips in response to those of the chef who overheard our menu questions (probably not a good place for spies); answers only assured us we had come to an authentic Italian restaurant. We ordered both a vegetarian-designed pasta dish and the potato dumplings; mmmmmmm! Sauces and pasta are homemade, some desserts from the NYC. This is the real deal folks, get there before everybody else finds out and you have to start waiting for a table. Of course this town has a vibrant artistic and historical culture that you don't want to miss, so plan to spend a day or two if you can, and don't miss the jewel of a theater on the main street.

How lucky Tunkhannock is to have such a lovely place for breakfast and lunch! The menu is both traditional and creative. Aside from the usual breakfast offerings, there are eggs with green salad, great hash and egg options, out of the ordinary omelets, even biscuits and gravy for a Southern twist. Lunch menu is also loaded with so many choices you'll feel like going back again and again to try them all, since it is so hard to choose. Coffee is good, waitress is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. No sticky items on the table, no lack of attention anywhere. Restrooms are clean and fresh. And around back, there is a bakery so you can pick up bread or dessert to take home on your way.
