Enjoying a gorgeous location on the sea in impressive surroundings close to the Torre Lapillo, this restaurant is a real example of essentiality.
Food is mostly fresh and based of sea products but on the menu it's mentioned that in case of lack of fresh produce dishes are prepared with frozen fish. In our case, there was something really tasty (such as the octopus balls, the baked cuttlefish au gratin and the mixed grilled fish) and something quite disappointing (such as the sea salad, which was cold and not so tempting). The white wine of the house was disappointing too, whereas service is kind and attentive though often in a hurry.
All in all a pretty place to taste fish on a completely throwaway mise en place, where it is absolutely necessary to book a table in advance but whose rates are not so cheap as some other reviews express.

Porto Cesareo is not a foodie destination. 'Meeting' may be one of the best restaurants in the town, but it is not a foodie place. We visited it twice, for lunch and dinner. The food was good but there was not a single dish that would make us come back again. The best dish I tasted was a ravioli type pasta stuffed with seafood. The biggest disappointment came when I ordered the whole seabass, which turned out to be cooked only halfway through (the waiter later apologised when I pointed a large chunk of raw meat out to him). Try vermentino wine - very good and only €10 a bottle.

Our local tour guide introduced us to this restaurant - he went to university with the owner. We are so thankful that we found Grecale. After a month's stay in Lecce we visited many seafood restaurants, however Grecale has got to be one of the best! Be sure to have them show you the fresh catch of the day. They have an inspired menu that prepares the fresh fish in a variety of interesting and delicious ways. Great wine list too. And don't forget the wonderful Deserts. Highly recommend this place!

We went here two nights in a row and greatly enjoyed the food. Tried out the different antipasti platters, as well as their meats and pasta. Very delicious, reasonably priced, and obviously made fresh from local produce.

Ombrelloni troppo attaccati gli uni agli altri, pensate che ad un certo punto non abbiamo più potuto usufruire dell'ombra del nostro ombrellone perché era su quelli dietro di noi.
Il costo di un ombrellone e due lettini: 20 euro, mentre il parcheggio 3.
Il lido è stato sintonizzato tutto il giorno su radio M2O: stazione di musica remix ad alto volume.
Già che c'è poco posto sulla spiaggia avrei preferito se almeno non avessero fatto entrare i cani.
A parte i nei elencati, la struttura è un lido normalissimo.
Doccia a pagamento e nel bagno non c'era la carta.
Mare spettacolare.
Comico il cartello che ha attirato la mia attenzione...

Recently we were going to the lovely beach at Torre Lapillo and discovered this family restaurant by accident really. We decided to have lunch and were not disappointed. The pizza and pasta's were all fantastico. We had a lovely bottle of local Salento white wine and spent a relaxing hour or so sipping it down. Would highly recommend if in this area. Service was excellent and very friendly

Parlando casualmente con una persona del posto siamo stati indirizzati in questo ristorante a pochi km da Porto Cesareo. Il primo impatto con l'entrata del locale non è dei migliori ma una volta accompagnati nel giardino sul retro ci siamo dovuti ricredere in quanto è davvero bello e curato. Il cibo degustato, antipasti e primi, sono stati davvero un apoteosi di gusti, con particolare menzione al polipo presente nell'antipasto ed ai gamberi viola degustati con le linguine. Personale giovane e cortese. CONSIGLIATISSIMO

We came here twice, once on Saturday nigh and once on Monday night. If you want to come here on the weekend, make sure you book in advance as the restaurant is very busy. Interestingly, we preferred Regina on Saturday, the restaurant was full and it had great ambience. Even though, there were two waiters, service was friendly and efficient and food was good. On Monday, initially we were the only patrons in the restaurant and despite that, service was very slow. We also thought that food was not as good or fresh as on Saturday night.
