Had lunch there after visiting the ancient theatre of Epidaurus.
The owner was very attentive and hospitable. Professional staff.
He prepared for us a variety of appetizers, fish and sea food, all fresh, and every dish was outstanding.
I highly recommend.
One suggestion..check first as credit cards were not accepted. That could create some inconvenience.

We have visited this bar nearly every evening whilst on holiday. Nikolas shows all important sports (last Sunday it was the football, Wimbledon and the F1 Grand Prix). Food can be delivered from any of the local tavernas. Again, Nikolas will sort it. He is a mine of information and speaks many languages. The locals use the bar regularly alongside holiday makers. Very friendly and always made to feel welcome. Nikolas remembers everyone!

Excellent food,plentiful helpings friendly staff,especially Takis. I think he was the owner! He will bring you little extras as a treat. Overlooking the sea on a upper dining area but entrance is at street level but plenty of sea air to keep cool.

There are great restaurants and there is great food. It is a matter of perception and Akrogiali is one of my favourite spots anywhere in the world. Why? The food is fabulous.... fresh seafood, perfectly cooked. The setting is sublime - a table on the sand with the blue water lapping on the shore a few feet away. The fried veges, prawns, mussels, fish, everything.... is just fabulous. We have been coming here annually for years and will continue to do so; not just once but everyday for lunch for our whole stay. It is that good. It is our piece of paradise!

We went to this tavern after a recommendation from our hotel manager in the first evening after we arrived from a long driving day...WE WERE AMAZED...great location, our table was at 1 meter from the sea...the food was excellent and the greek wine was exactly what we needed.
During our stay in Tolon, almost every day we made reservation at this tavern for dinner.

It is placed directly on the beach, you can eat directly on tables placed near the water or inside on a balcony.
I ate linguine with Chicken and vegetables (really good). My friend ate calamares in winsauce (very good to). 1 L white housewine all together for 25 €.

My wife tried all the ice cream bars on Tolon High Street and she reckons that the ice creams here were the best. They all do similar or identical flavours but she thought the actual "base" ice cream here was the best/creamiest. Dont get me wrong they were all pretty good but!!!

We noticed bright lights outside this restaurant, on a cold dark night - we were won over.Inside we received a good welcome, and found a warm, comfortable place with a good open fire.Excellent three courses for the four of us, three 50cl house wine, and we paid about 50 euro. A very good evening!
