Marrone Rosso is a well known chain in Almaty and Astana but it also has a venue in Taraz. You cannot find a lot about it but it is on Aiteke Bi opposite Mocco cafe.
MR is great for excellent coffee and tea. Their salads are of great quality, but also pasta is al dente!
Nice oudoor and indoor Seating!
Staff is excellent and friendly. Wifi for free.
The best place for coffee in Taraz!

I've been here with my cousin. We both liked it, especially the music and pizza. Pizza was delicious ? I wish there were more people than today.

AIVA is a cafe in the city of Taraz, that combines delicious dishes, beautiful interiors and reasonable prices. AIVA presented in Ozbek meals, kebabs, salads and pastries. YOU ARE WELCOME!!!

Had delicious dinner here last night with great service and good prices. Woke up this morning to learn they were on fire and later learned it was badly damaged. If they're back in bush by the time you visit Taraz go have a good dinner and help them recover.

This is the go-to place for hosting guests in Taraz, because the food is reliably good. The salads are fresh, and the shashlik is some of the best in the city. The waitressess do not speak English and are not overly friendly (I have been there 5 times and have never seen a waitress smile), possibly because many of the dining rooms are on the second floor and the waitresses are constantly walking up and down the stairs. The individual dining rooms are kitschly decorated, and the toilet is of the Turkish variety. And the restaurant is located well outside of the center (30 minute walk from the main square), so most customers take taxis to get there and back. Despite these weaknesses, the food is quite good, and the restaurant is fun, so customers keep returning. Reservations are recommended, especially in the evening.
The restaurant "Koktem" is a place to relax after a hard day's work. Having visited the restaurant "Koktem", you can order food, which is prepared only from natural, home products and purified water. Restaurant "Koktem" is designed for 50-60 seats. At your service there is a hall with a working fireplace. Here you can spend a romantic candlelit dinner.

Don't let the pub in the name fool you. This is a modern and upscale bar/restaurant, with great service and great food. The restaurant Seating is upstairs, while the bar, dance floor and stage for live music are downstairs. The tables are large, and the Seating is comfortable, There are large screen tvs throughout, showing silent videos. The bathrooms are European style. Credit cards are accepted. The wifi is password protected, and the menu is currently in Russian only.
