I have stayed at Avalon several times and if you like some good local Komi food, the Elephant has a nice choice of that in the menu. I particularly recommend the Komi mushrooms as starters and then the selection of home made sausages. Service can be a little slow and dishes don't come at the same time for everybody but a nice local beer will make the waiting OK.

Flat pancake filled with whatever you want. Large menu with lots of filling options. From wild berries to a Salmon. Old fashioned atmosphere and good prices.General suggestion, stay away from anything with mayonnaise and from anything that was deep fried.

We ordered few starters and a big plate of sausages to share. All meals were well prepared. Nothing really special but definetly worth of money. Local beers were really good even I would have prefer darker types. All beers were light in color. No english menus or service which is same in most of restaurants in Syktyvkar.

despite my russian is limited and staff are not English speakers, my wife my son and I were able to communicate perfectly with a very kind staff there. Food is also fresh and cheap so.... It is pizza only but when you are a foreigner in such Country like Russia, kindstaff is really welcome.

There aren't many great places to eat in this city, but one thing is for sure. If you want consistency, Komilfo is the place for you.
They don't really mess with the food a lot. Day after they they prepare the same quality dishes.
Located in the center near a "Pyatyorochka" supermarket. Prices are above average.

Stumbled upon this place by mistake, we were hungry and the decision has been made. The purchase process will not be pleasant or usual to a tourist. It's a line style and they rush you to decide but at the same time were very informative.
You order, take a number(to your table) and wait. The dishes are served to you(plus).
Food is average, avoid any mayo salads... and avoid oily dishes, i find the oil to be low quality in Syktivkar, heartburn is inevitable and trust me, read my reviews, i travel all around the world and eat a lot! never encountered such inconsistent oil quality before..heartburn after heartburn...god. The prices are very good. Cheap eat.

I had a light supper here on my last evening in Syktyvkar. The ambience was relaxed and cosy so we could really enjoy our evening. I had brilliant soup and syrniki, which were great.

Обедали в этом ресторане с коллегами. Хороший выбор блюд, включая различные северные изыски, большой выбор напитков. Все было приготовлено очень качественно. Внимательный и позитивный персонал. На входе в ресторан можно сфотографироваться с медведем.

Если вам хочется не просто кушать, но и провести время весело - вам сюда
Есть отдельный зал с караоке, платишь за вход 300 р и можно петь сколь угодно!
Нам повезло - мы были одни, поэтому все песни были наши!
Кухня неплохая, особенно северные блюда, особенно понравился тар-тар из оленины
Обслуживание быстрое и приятное.
Немного мрачный интерьер, а так все прилично
