Sumperk is a nice town; the "center" of its region. But by far not a city or metropolis. This restaurant, Arte, has been and still is the best in town for at least the last 5 years. Slightly more expensive than others in town, but still very modest compared to Prague. Friendly service; also speaking English, as well. Good and nice mix of local Czech cuisine/ specialties and international food.

By far the best and friendliest restaurant I have tried on my many trips to Sumperk.
The staff are excellent and attentive. The manager speaks good english and so do a couple of the waitresses. The food is remarkably good and it serves a fantastic pizza cooked in a stone oven.
It is located on the main Hlavní třída and during the warm weather you can sit outside in a covered area and people watch.

Klidná restaurace u vody, příjemné posezení v zimě u krbu i v létě na terase u vody. Poctivá česká domácí kuchyně, byli jsme několikrát v rámci rodinných oslav i na poledním menu, pokaždé spokojenost za přijatelnou cenu.

I was invited to this restaurant by my friends while visiting them in Šumperk. I love burgers but so far I had only few great burgers in Prague so when I heard: "They have great burgers" I was bit sceptical. But what a surprise, they really have awesome burgers. And what more, the price is so low that I couldn't believe it. Beside it the burgers are big and they have a really stylish wrapping. I also ordered fries but that wasn't necessary.
Oh and the service was perfect - two young guys - but super friendly and professional, helping me choose the right beer and asking How did I like the burger. Such a small thing but they can make huge difference.
It could seem a bit like a student fast food or so, but give it a try, you will love it. Nice job, guys!

Docela mě překvapil prázdnej lokál, tak jsem měl strach. Nicméně jídlo super, jídelní lístek zaměřenej na řízky, ceny vskutku lidové, obsluha příjemná, takže kdykoliv zpátky.

Šli jsme sem s kolegy. Příjemná a rychlá obsluha. Docela dobre jídlo. Dala jsem si mix. Biftek byl trochu nedodělaný. Ceny jsou docela vysoké.

Kavárna po rekonstrukci, vynikající káva a ještě lepší zákusky paní majitelky. Nyní nově zahrádka. Doporučuji všem kdo bude mít cestu kolem. K dispozici také možnost koupě výborného vína (Nové Vinařství)
