The food was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and a band provided entertainment. Decor is warm, price is good.

We got our food very fast, the menu had lots of options, and the pizzas tasted good. Comparing to other pizzas I've had, they were average: nothing Amazing but good dough and nice toppings. Would go again :)

This restaurant is one of the better around Novy Smokovec, but if you'd ask me why to go there again, I have no comment to that. The food was good, but not special, staff was OK, not rude, arrangements around, like you can see anywhere else, just common. Maybe, thats what the place is going for.
Its not pricy but also not cheap. Just a good average, or slightly above it.
Our kid didnt have much there to be entertained while waiting, just couple of stuffed animals. Also no kids menu there.

Hoepfner is a small traditional cafe in Stary Smokovec, located on the "golden path" (walkway from the railway station to the funicular station), in the building of Hotel Smokovec. Named after architect of the nearby Grandhotel, Guido Hoepfner, the cafe offers a place to enjoy coffee or tea with some pastry and selection of local and international press. During the summer season, there are live jazz music evenings on Saturday. However, selection and freshness of the pastry might vary.

Perfect for after a hike. Very good prices and wine. Good service and the waiters wear traditional costume!
We had the venison stew and it came with lots of bread and then we also ordered rice but it was probably enough. We then shared a tasty dessert.
The place was clean and also looked like a lovely place to stay too, it's a hotel too.

We have visited 4 different restaurants in Lomnica, but this by far the worst one. Overpriced, food quality is below average, music loud and you are waiting too long to be seatted. Service was poor as well, we were waiting 40 minutes for food which was the worst we had in Lomnica. We will avoid this place next year

Little disappointment, because: one tiny piece od salty pancake filled with duck pate and sour cabbage (6€)...etc.Nice tea and a loooooot of balsamico on everything :) Probably a question of trend :D One visit was enough for us.You can find better places for lunch in the neighborhood...

First, we were two people, to hungry mans that just finished a full day of ski.
Atmosphere: very very nice place, good music, quiet place and the wood look very nice.
Food: we ordered two sticks, salad, potato balls and beers.
the day after that we ordered sticks, soup, potato balls, salad, and beers.
everything was very tasty and the price like a good price in Slovakia, very cheap.
Waiters: so kind...
