KwaDukuza (also known as Stanger) is a town in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. In 2006, its official name was changed from Stanger to KwaDukuza, but the Zulu people in the area called it "Dukuza" well before then, and many white South Africans still use the name "Stanger" (see below) "Stanger" has also been used on new road signs in the area.

The curry is definitely the best in KZN. I can recommend the Medium Chicken curry - If you are not use to HOT food, do not order the HOT lamb curry. It's not for the faint hearted lol

It is not often that a restaurant offers consistent good quality food and service, but on our second visit here this year we had both. The seafood and sushi are delicious and it is a great place for friends and family to relax and enjoy the fruits of the sea.

After Reading and hearing about this restaurant we decided to try it.
Great space.
They have a large and interesting breakfast options but super expensive.
I had the guacamole on a small slice of ciabatta and this was R65. The full breakfast was just short of R100.
You can expect these prices in high rental centres or CapeTown.
Beautifully presented.

We ate here recently because the SO simply loved the way the chicken is grilled - always selecting the extra hot options. I was pleasantly surprised to see a new veggie dish - haloumi rice with fried veggies - It was extremely bland and i had to pour alot of sauce(signature nandos selling point) to get some life onto the plate. Then I decided to add french fries into the same plate because it was still missing something. With the chilli powder that stays on the tables - it did come together fairly decent. Otherwise unless you really into chicken grilled extra HOT dont bother coming here. The prices are also slipping a little since the past few times I have been here. They do have a few very well priced special items on the menu, however!! Important to note there has never been a time i visited here and not seen a queue at the till.

A quaint place for couples or get togethers. The chicken is exquisitely prepared with just right amount of sauce. The waiters are friendly and meals are prepared timeously.

This was our second visit: the first time we sat outside, this time inside. As with our previous visit 7 months ago, the food was decent enough, although we found the main menu a little limited on both occasions and selected from the day’s specials. While some kind of run-down of the specials may be necessary, the “talking menu” performance here is somewhat overdone. The main reason for a second review, however, was the noise-level, which made it impossible to conduct a conversation. Be warned if you’re planning to visit over a weekend or holiday period.
